True D. Westfall, 83, of Greenville, died early Sunday morning, May 31, 2009 at Heartland of Greenville. Mr. Westfall was born in Pitsburg, Ohio on August 19, 1925, the son of the late John and Mae (Marshall) Westfall. He was a builder for Bill Longenecker, and True Westfall Builders, and retiring from the R. O. Binson Construction Company, Dayton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WW II and a member of the VFW and American Legion, Greenville, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis (Kress) Westfall, who died February 28, 2008, sister Catherine Richter, and 2 brothers Norval Westfall and LG Westfall. True is survived by 3 daughters Sandra Weaver and husband Halley of Mansfield, Nancy Gallehue and husband Jim of Edon, Ohio, and Melinda Wissel of Troy; son Michael Westfall and wife Vickie of Cincinnati; Grandchildren Chad Weaver and wife Stacey, Jeremy Weaver and wife Lisa, John Gallehue and wife Chandra, Jamie Gallehue, Nick Westfall and wife Kelly, Ben Westfall, and Bryon Wissel; 9 Great Grandchildren; and sister-in-law Jane Westfall of Covington. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, June 5, 2009 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum with Rev Samuel Hoeflich officiating. Burial will follow in Mote Cemetery, Pitsburg where the Greenville Honor Guard will conduct veterans services. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday 5 - 8 PM at the funeral home.
