Roberta J. Scheiding, age 69 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 7:46 P.M. Thursday February 18, 2010 at her residence. Roberta was born April 29, 1940 in Darke County, Ohio and the daughter of the late Wilbur & Kathryn (Wills) Musselman.
She was retired having worked for 37 years at Whirlpool of Greenville and also had worked for many years as a waitress in the Greenville area.
Roberta enjoyed playing Bingo with her many friends and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her lst husband—James Neargardner and her 2 sisters—Janet Musselman and Judy Timmons.
Roberta is survived by daughters and son in law—Deb & Bill Ross of Ansonia and Kelly Scheiding of Versailles. Grandchilren—Amy Locke, Adam & Ashlea Locke, Dusty Jones, David Fitzgerald, Craig Gengler. Great grandchildren—Evan Locke, Owen Locke, Mikey Locke, Avalyn Locke and Elly Locke.
Brothers, Charles Musselman of Greenville, James Musselman of Greenville, Delbert Musselman of Hillgrove, and Gary Musselman of Hollansburg. Sisters & Brothers-In-Law, Wilma Musselman of Greenville, Goldie White of Greenville, Phyllis & Robert Sherry of Greenville, Jenny Hofacker of Greenville, Cindy & Donald Ditty of Greenville, and Bonnie & John Reed of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Doug Baker officiating. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. and Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 at the funeral home.
