William A. "Bill" Rogers (February 7, 2010)

William A. "Bill" Rogers, 69, of Greenville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 7, 2010.

He was born in Columbus, OH, son of the late Richard H. and LaVerne E. (Dewald) Rogers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard H. Rogers.

Bill owned and operated Bill Rogers' Carpet and Bill Rogers' California Beds and Bedrooms both in Greenville.

He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville, and had attended Ohio State University.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; children, Michael A. (and fiancee Megan R. Dixon) Rogers, Jennifer A. (Peter S.) Garcia, Kristen G. (Christopher J.) Lohr, William E. Rogers, Karen M. Olivier and John A. (Deborah) Rogers; 3 grandchildren, Bevin Shipley Rogers, Sydney Rogers, and Amanda Rae Rogers, and 1 great grandchild, Elizabeth Mary Issacs; a brother, John E. Rogers; and sisters, Jeanne Federer and Marilyn Bibby.

Private services will be held at a later date.

The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the American Heart Association.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville.
