Norma was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles, Daughters of Isabella and she was the 1st Honorary Charter member of the Versailles Garden Club.
In addition to her parents, Norma is also preceded in death by her 1st husband, Paul Gasson; 2nd husband, Joseph E. Reed; son, Steven Gasson; sisters, Mary Goubeaux, Alberta Goubeaux and Ursula Overholser; and brother, R.J. Goubeaux.
Norma is survived by her sons, David Gasson of Ft. Loramie and Phil Gasson of Russia; a daughter-in-law, Jody Gasson of Memphis, Tennessee; grandchildren, Renee Tophan of Memphis Tennessee, Misti Reeves of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Steven Gasson of Memphis, Tennessee; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles, with Rev. Fr. David Vincent celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Versailles Health Care Center or State of the Heart Hospice.
