Allan W. “Bill” Stukenborg, age 67 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 1:55 PM Monday January 24, 2011 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home of Greenville. Bill was born May 24, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio and the son of the late Albert & Dorothy (Owens) Stukenborg. Bill was a veteran of the Vietman War serving in the U.S. Air Force. He retired in 2003 from Fram-Honeywell Corp of Greenville and had been a member of the Premier Bowling League also of Greenville. He was an avid fisherman and a lifetime Cincinnati Red’s fan. Also enjoyed computers, a former member of the Trail Rider’s Club of Lewisburg and an avid fan of aviation. Bill is survived by his brother and sister in law James and Linda Stukenborg of Brookville, Ohio and his nephew Ian Stukenborg also of Brookville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday January 28, 2011 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with the Pastor Alan Knoke officiating and Full Military Honors being conducted by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Friday at the Dayton National Cemetery Dayton, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Friday from 9:30 AM until time of the services in the funeral home. It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Cancer Association of Darke County.
