In addition to her parents, Violet is also preceded in death by her daughter, Paulette McGriff Zawosky; grandson, R.D. Ritchie; and brothers, Charles, Hubert, Frederick and John Trump.
Violet is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Stull whom she married June 12, 1972; daughter, Joy (Charlie) Dixon; son, James “Jimmy” McGriff; step children, Cindy Deel, Steve, Doug and Ron Stull; grandchildren, Jonathan Arthur, Summer (Doug) Cutler and Autumn Davis; sisters, Lydia Ratliff and Martha (Herbert) Rudy; brother, Jesse Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Bob Schooley officiating. Burial will follow in Castine Cemetery in Castine. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
