She is survived by her children and their spouses, Dave & Becky Simon of Greenville, Ohio, John & Mary Ann Simon of Bradford, Ohio, Bill & Elizabeth Simon of Lexington, Kentucky, Tom & Wilma Simon of New Bremen, Ohio, Tim & Peg Simon of Houston, Ohio, Ed & Erm Simon of Sparks, Nevada, Jerry Simon of Piqua, Ohio, Jane & Gery Monnin of Troy, Ohio, Susan & Lowell Wolaver of Ft. Loramie, Ohio, and Steve Simon of Russia, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Lucille Virden of Versailles, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James Simon; brothers, Louis “Frenchy” Peltier, Joseph “Joe” Peltier, Homer Peltier, and Ralph Peltier.
Mary was a devoted wife and mother and was a member of the St. Denis Catholic Church.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 9:30 AM at St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles, Ohio, with Rev. Fr. David Vincent celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Remy Catholic Church Cemetery, Russia, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 4-8 PM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio, as well as from 8:30-9:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.
