Jimmie D. Cohee (January 5, 2013)

Jimmie D. Cohee age 74 of Russia, Ohio died at 1:25 AM on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio after battling heart disease for 26 years. He was born November 24, 1938 in Versailles to the late Ralph Cohee and Mary (Seman) Cohee-Frazier. His mother survives in Greenville. He married Madonna Kelch on July 17, 1958 at St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia. She survived in Russia. He is also survived by children; Gina & Robert Griesdorn, Piqua, Jim Jr. & Shelley Cohee, Russia, Jody & Ed Seger Jr., McCartyville, 8 grandchildren, Madison & Morgan Griesdorn, Haley, Hannah & Hunter Cohee, Jacob, Josh & Joel Seger, sisters Helen & Jerry Wright, Greenville, Shirley Hughes, Greenville, brother-in-law Wayne Grenier, Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his father, his Step-father Norman Frazier, sister Mary Louise Grenier & brother Robert Cohee. He was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church. He worked at Francis Manufacturing for 17 years and owned and operated the Russia Inn for 3 yrs and at National Tag/Paxar in Vandalia until retirement. He enjoyed his trips to Florida & Canada and was a loving husband, father, grandfather & brother. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at St. Remy Catholic Church with Rev. Frank Amberger celebrant. Friends may call at the church from 10AM until time of service and following the service there will be lunch and fellowship at the CWV hall in Russia.
