Lindsay is survived by her husband of 30 years, Cary L. Brown whom she married December 31, 1982; children, Brian & Dawn Godown of Port Charlotte, Florida, Tab & Randi Brown of Indianapolis, Indiana, Amanda & Ron Nelson of New Madison, Missi & Mike Levine of Carmel, Indiana and Franklin Brown of New Madison; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; brother, Steve Trissel of Avon Park, Florida; half-brothers, Jeff Cheadle of Moorpark, California and David Small of Eureka, California; and a half-sister, Jan Chaney of Tipp City.
Lindsay was a homemaker, mother and photographer. She was a member of the Ft. Jefferson United Methodist Church. Lindsay was chosen “Mother of the Year” for 45 consecutive years.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Doug Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home.
