Robert T. “Dick” Cain, 92, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 1:30 AM at his residence. He was born on July 25, 1920 in Laura, Ohio, to the late Ben & Credith (Buckingham) Cain.
Dick is survived by his wife, Fidebell (Kissinger) Cain of Greenville, Ohio, whom he married on August 19, 1939; sons and daughters in law, Roy & Marilyn Cain of Greenville and Gary & Beth Cain of Greenville; grandchildren, Rick, Doug, Matthew and Leah Cain; 7 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Joe Cain, Evelyn Bashore, Lester Cain, Ruby Smith, Rose Robinson, Maxine, Jean Wombold, and Irene Dicky.
Robert was a farmer and also worked as a Brick Mason. Dick also helped clean the Arcanum School. He enjoyed gardening and being with his grandkids.
There will be a private service held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens in Greenville, Ohio. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
