George Lloyd Willingham, 91, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April, 20, 2015 at Wayne Hospital in Greenville. George was born on April 26, 1923 in Rose Hill, Virginia to the late George and Lydia (Saylor) Willingham.
George was a member of the American Legion in Hollansburg, Ohio and the American Coon Hunters Association of Richmond, Indiana. He served his country honorably in World War II as a member of the United States Army-Air Force. He loved Fishing, Family and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by his wife, Deveda L, (Lincoln) Willingham; two sisters, Lela Willingham and Oneda O'Neil and one son, Gary Willingham.
George is survived by a son, Lloyd Willingham of Glen Karn, Ohio; two daughters, Deveda Sue and Steve Richards of Hollansburg, Ohio and Wanda and Kenny Brown of Glen Karn; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren and two sisters, Catherine Strouse of Kettering and Elaine Willingham both of Kettering, Ohio.
Graveside celebration of life service will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, April 25th, 2015 in the Hollansburg cemetery with Rev. Joe Hanna officiating. Full military honors will follow. Friends and family may visit from 10 AM - 12 PM at Braund Pope Funeral Home in New Madison. Family request memorial contributions be given to the Alzheimer's Association. Elaine C. Fitzgerald, age 104, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 7:59 PM at her residence. She was born on July 2, 1910 in Miles City, Montana, to the late Charles & Lucy (Henrionnet) Ennis.
She is survived by her son, Marc Fitzgerald of Greenville; daughter, Diane Anderson of Lewisburg, Ohio; daughter in law, Jan Fitzgerald of Greenville; grandchildren, John (Carolyn) Anderson, Berry (Eleanor) Anderson, Scott (Jeni) Fitzgerald, Anne Fitzgerald and Charles Mills; great grandchildren, Brooks Anderson, Lilian Anderson, Julie Anderson, Andrew Kocher, Jack Fitzgerald and Grant Fitzgerald.

Steve W. “Pappy” Young, age 68 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 1:50 A.M. Tuesday April 14, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. Steve was born July 3, 1946 in Versailles, Ohio and the son of the late Walter Wayne and Cecelia (Smith) Young.
He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War from 1963 until 1967 serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. and retired in 1999 from Fram Corporation of Greenville where he had been employed for several years.
Steve was a member of the Greenville American Legion, a life member Greenville V.F.W., also a life member of D.A.V., Tucson, Arizona; a very active member of the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard, member of the Greenville Moose Lodge, Versailles Eagles Lodge, White Springs and Union City Golf Courses and a Die-Hard Cleveland Browns Fan. He also had been involved with the Greenville Girls Softball League.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Dennis L. Young in 1997 and his mother-in-law Helen “Granny” Gilmore.
Steve is survived by his wife Eddie Grace (Gilmore) Young of Greenville. They were married January 12, 1980. Also daughters Michelle (Todd) Force, Jamie (Steve Becker) Young and Mindy Young all of Greenville; grandchildren Ashley (Jarvis) Martin, Christopher Force and Kendall Bunger; great grandchildren Blake Martin and Bentley Martin; brother Bruce Young of Mexico; sisters Mary Pat (Jack) Royer and Sherri Sue (Tom) Vance all of Greenville as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Cecil C. Holland, age 85 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 5:20 A.M. Monday April 13, 2015 at his residence. Cecil was born October 26, 1929 in Greenville, Ohio and the son of the late Raymond L. and Mary Marie (Goens) Holland.
He was retired following 10 years of employment at International Harvester and 36 years at Corning Glass as a press operator.
He was a member of the Bethel Long Church of Liberty Township Ohio and loved playing sports, particularly excelling in basketball and baseball. Cecil was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals and the Dayton Flyers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Mae (Burden) Holland November 6, 2012. They were married August 8, 1949. Also brothers Gene Holland, Verlin Holland, James Holland, Bill Holland and Jack Holland; Sister Betty Johnson and best friend Tom Hope.
Cecil is survived by his children Debbie Cline of Mooreland, Ind. and Patti Shepherd of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren Erica (Ken) Iwamura, Jeremy (Stephanie) Cline, Natalie Shepherd and Amber Shepherd; great grandchildren Brandon Iwamura, Trevor Iwamura, Christina Martinez, Jaden Martinez and Bryce Shepherd; Sister Donna (Phillip) Clemens of New Castle, Ind. and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Monnin of Versailles whom she married on August 9, 1969; daughter, Denise Casto of Reston, Virginia; grandchildren, Holden and Taylor Casto; sisters and brothers in law, Delores (Frank) Hittson of Austin, Texas, and Martha (Milford Irvin) Whitcomb of Muncie, Indiana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Georgetta was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church and worked as a nurse for Dr. Pippenger in Muncie, Indiana.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Monnin of Versailles whom she married on August 9, 1969; daughter, Denise Casto of Reston, Virginia; grandchildren, Holden and Taylor Casto; sisters and brothers in law, Delores (Frank) Hittson of Austin, Texas, and Martha (Milford Irvin) Whitcomb of Muncie, Indiana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Horace and Charles McClure and sister, Donna Jean McClure.
Georgetta was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church and worked as a nurse for Dr. Pippenger in Muncie, Indiana.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles, Ohio, with Rev. Fr. Jim Simons celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles, Ohio. Wade Spencer went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the age of 39 following a courageous battle against cancer. He was born on February 8, 1976 in Piqua, Ohio, to Clearance “Ed” and Marla (Palsgrove) Spencer whom both survive in Bradford, Ohio.
Wade married Jacci (Ayette) on June 12, 2004. She survives with their three sons, Caleb, Luke, and Isaac in Celina, Ohio. Other survivors are brother and sister-in-law Clay and Brandy Spencer of Bradford, Ohio, parents in law Tony and Joyce Ayette of Palestine, Ohio, in laws Joe and Marla Ayette, of Batesville, Indiana, Alan and Erin Ayette of Palestine, Ohio, Alicia and Dustin Swallow of Van Wert, Ohio and 6 nephews and 7 nieces. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Lewis and JoAnn (Baker) Palsgrove, and paternal grandparents Clearance and Isabelle (Gabbard) Spencer. Wade attended Covenant Community Church, Coldwater. He was a graduate from Bradford High School, Bluffton University, and Wright State University. He taught at Bradford Elementary before becoming the principal at Coldwater Elementary. Wade will be remembered for his love for the Lord, family, and friends.

Mildred M. Campbell, 94, of Rossburg, OH, passed away Friday evening, April 10, 2015 at her residence.
She was born June 29, 1920 in Greenville Township, Darke County, daughter of the late Henry M. and Nola (Miller) Bowman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Campbell on July 18, 2001; and a brother, Millard Bowman.
Mildred was retired from Fram in Greenville where she had worked for 22 years. She was a member of the Ansonia First Church of God.
Millie is survived by her children, Bob J. (Becky) Campbell and Cheryl Campbell; foster child, Joe and Sandra Williams; grandchildren, Jamie (Kim) Campbell, Trisha E. Alice Emma Kueterman Huffman (April 8, 2015)
Alice Emma Kueterman Huffman, 83, passed peacefully at her home on April 8, 2015, surrounded by her loved ones. Alice, a devoted mother and grandmother, was a local historian and genealogist. She will be remembered for her humor and passion for life.
Alice was born on February 26, 1932 in Shelby County, Ohio, to the late Andy and Della (Coons) Kueterman.
Alice graduated from Versailles High School in 1950. She retired from Hobart Corp (PMI) in Troy, Ohio. After retiring, Alice volunteered at Garst Museum in Greenville, Ohio.
Alice was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she served on the church council. She was a Trustee of the Versailles Historical Society and the Worch Memorial Library. She served as President of the Darke County Genealogical Society for fourteen years and was awarded the Toni Seiler Award in 2014 for her service to the organization. Alice was also a member of the Fort Greene Ville Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Versailles F.O.E. 2347 Auxiliary, and the Darke County Historical Society.
In addition to her parents, Alice is also preceded in death by her husband, Max Gordon Huffman, who died in 2008. They were married on June 20, 1953. Also preceding her were brothers-in-law Wilbur, Ora, Ernie, and Gerald Huffman, John Smock, and John Luellen, sisters-in-law Agnes Smock, Helen Luellen, Wanda Holt Orne, and Marie Huffman.
She is survived by four children, Dixie and Jim Stephens of Somerset, Kentucky, Roberta and Dan Stahl of Washington Court House, Ohio, Ed Huffman and Hallie Martin of Cedar Grove, Tennessee, and Jim and Melanie Huffman of Versailles; grandchildren Jance and Elaine Stephens, Abby Stahl and Mike Molenda, Beth Stahl and Scott Harris, Catherine Stahl, Mindy and Jason Stebbins, Morgan Huffman, Taylor Huffman and Mitch Westerhide, and Bailey Huffman: great-granddaughters, Gabriella and Caleigh Stebbins; brother and sister-in-law Dick and Rita Kueterman of Russia, Ohio, Brother-in-law Herb Huffman and Elaine Ruth; special friends Diane Huffman and Pat Huffman Kreig, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bernice E. Harman, age 94 of Greenville, Ohio passes away at 3:14 A.M. Thursday April 9, 2015 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home of Greenville. She was born November 19, 1920 in Randolph County Indiana and the daughter of the late Charles H. and Fannie O. (Miller) Day.
Bernice was a member of the Beamsville Christian Church and the Ladies Aid of the Church. She retired from Mary’s Beauty Shop of Ansonia in 1968 as a Hair Stylist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband H. Blaine Pratt in 1968; second husband Otis E. Harman in 2010; 3 brothers and 5 Half-brothers.
Bernice is survived by her children Karen K. Mikolic and Tedd L. Pratt both of Greenville; grandchildren Sharon (Bruce) Snyder, Ann (Dave) Jadischke, Trixie Pratt and friend Richard Whitley, Lena (Bobby) Wright and Jeni (Cam) Woliver; 11 great grandchild as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Hillier of Piqua, Ohio; son and daughters in law, Richard & Mary Martin of Greenville and Gloria Martin of Greenville; daughter, Marilyn Warrick of Greenville; step daughter and son in law, Judy and Rollan Brown; step daughter in law, Shirley Hillier; grandchildren, Tory Martin, Jeff Martin, Tracey Martin, Jennifer Schatz, Jessica Warrick, Lance Warrick, Julie Eldridge and Scott Martin; 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; half-brother, Roger Miller; numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

Beverly Ann Didier age 66, of Versailles, Ohio passed away at 9:15 P.M. on Monday, April 6, 2015 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. Beverly was born May 27, 1948 in Greenville, Ohio to the late William Varner & Dorothea (Magoteaux) Varner Gessler.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Richard J. “Dick” Didier whom she married July 12, 1969; children, Daniel Didier of Scottsdale, Arizona, Elizabeth “Beth” & Daniel Simons of Versailles, Ohio, Douglas & Kara Didier of Versailles, Ohio, Rebecca & Ted Bruns of Yorkshire, Ohio and William R. “Bill” Didier of Versailles, Ohio; grandchildren, Austin Didier, Alexa Didier, Cameron Didier, Lewis Kremer, Jason Simons, Sarah Simons, Jacob Simons, Braylan Bruns, Jaxon Bruns, Matthew Bruns and Eliza Bruns; brother, Bruce Varner of Versailles, Ohio; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Dorothy and John Mangen, Ed Didier, Jim and Sheila Didier all of Versailles, Ohio, Lucille and Maurice Brunswick of Fort Recovery, Ohio, Annie Hodges of Union City, Ohio, Bob and Shirley Didier of Celina, Ohio, Mary Raffel of Burkettsville, Ohio and Mark and Deb Didier of Bradford, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Beverly was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles and the Versailles American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Beverly was extremely creative and artistic. She enjoyed drawing, painting, crocheting, crafting, sewing and cooking.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Rev. Fr. James Simons celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles. There will be no visitation. Beverly is survived by her husband, Richard J. “Dick” Didier whom she married July 12, 1969; children, Daniel Didier of Scottsdale, Arizona, Elizabeth “Beth” & Daniel Simons of Versailles, Ohio, Douglas & Kara Didier of Versailles, Ohio, Rebecca & Ted Bruns of Yorkshire, Ohio and William R. “Bill” Didier of Versailles, Ohio; grandchildren, Austin Didier, Alexa Didier, Cameron Didier, Lewis Kremer, Jason Simons, Sarah Simons, Jacob Simons, Braylan Bruns, Jaxon Bruns, Matthew Bruns and Eliza Bruns; brother, Bruce Varner of Versailles, Ohio; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Dorothy and John Mangen, Ed Didier, Jim and Sheila Didier all of Versailles, Ohio, Lucille and Maurice Brunswick of Fort Recovery, Ohio, Annie Hodges of Union City, Ohio, Bob and Shirley Didier of Celina, Ohio, Mary Raffel of Burkettsville, Ohio and Mark and Deb Didier of Bradford, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Donna Varner and brother-in-law, Bobby Jo Hodges.
Beverly was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles and the Versailles American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Beverly was extremely creative and artistic. She enjoyed drawing, painting, crocheting, crafting, sewing and cooking.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Rev. Fr. James Simons celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles. There will be no visitation. An open house celebration of Beverly’s life at the Versailles Vet’s Club will immediately proceed the burial. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County P.O. Donald E. Wintrow, age 61 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 4:53 A.M. Wednesday March 25, 2015 at the Miami Valley Hospital; Dayton, Ohio. Donald was born November 16, 1953 in Greenville, Ohio and the son of the late Delbert R. and Mary K. (Grill) Wintrow.

John E. Wynn, age 78, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 7:30 AM at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. He was born on June 24, 1936 in Dizney, Kentucky, to the late Ed & Edith (McGinnis) Wynn.
He is survived by his sons, John Wynn Jr. of Maryland and Ronnie Tolliver of Greenville; daughter and son in law, Goldie & John Luebtow of Chatsworth, CA; grandchildren, Monica, Jessica, Stephanie, Jason, Lori and Courtney (TJ); 3 great grandchildren, sister, Ann Wynn of Evarts, Kentucky; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Wynn whom he married on March 2, 1972; daughter, Trisha Quick; sisters, Edna Goddard and Alice Teague; brother, Robert Lee Goddard; grandson, Kevin and granddaughter, Ashley.
John retired from the United States Army in 1979 after serving 20 years. He attended Mount Assembly Church of God in Greenville.
There will be a service held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens, Greenville, Ohio. Anna T. Ganger (March 24, 2015)
Anna T. Ganger of the Brethren Retirement Community formerly of Bradford, Ohio lost a tremendous fight to Alzheimer’s disease on March 24th. She was surrounded by family. Anna now watches over her sister Rose, sons Timothy (Teressa) Mullins and John (Cindy) Pearson, as well as granddaughter Alicia Mullins and great grandchildren Aiden and Harper. She was preceded in death by her husband: Dale F. Ganger of Bradford, Ohio, Son: David Mullins of Florida, and numerous brothers and sisters. Anna was a retired bus driver and Post Office worker. She was very involved in her great grandchildren’s lives.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday April 8, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM with a service immediately following at the Brethren Retirement Community Chapel 750 Chestnut Street, Greenville, Ohio. She was born March 25, 1937 in Troy, Ohio, a daughter of the late John and Helen (Shank) Emig. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard "Dick" Spahr on October 8, 2007; a brother and a sister.
Barbara was retired from Fram and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville. She had lived at St. Charles Seminary for the past two years.
She is survived by her sons, Dean (Ann) Spahr of Indianapolis, IN; Joe Spahr of North Carolina; and Gary (Nan) Spahr of Greenville; grandchildren, Alison, Elizabeth, Jacob, Jerry and Justin; and 3 great grandchildren.

Dr. Keith Marshall Bailey, age 91 of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born on February 4, 1924 in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Frank M. & Sylvia (Marshall) Bailey.
He is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Michael L. & Beth A. Bailey of Lombard, IL, Rev. Timothy M. & Debra R. Bailey MD of Pikeville, Ky., and Gary K. Bailey of Plymouth, MN; grandchildren: Jennifer Fout (Husband: Brad) of Belvidere, IL, Benjamin Bailey of Dundee, IL, Dean Suominem of Morris, IL, Nathan Bailey of Morris, IL, Rebekah Bailey of Pikeville, KY, Rachel Bailey of Pikeville, KY, and Michael Bailey of Plymouth, MN; great grandchildren, Shannon Fout, Eli Fout, Noah Bailey, Sabrina Bailey, Devin Bailey and Jordyn Bailey; step great grandchildren, Kaden Kile and Evan Jolly. He is also survived by his sister in law, Charlotte Bailey

Dr. Bailey attended Taylor University and Ashland College. He received a Bachelor of Theology degree from St. Paul Bible College, St Paul, MN, a Bachelor of Arts from Nazarene College, Bethany, OK and an Honorary Doctor of Letters (LLD) from Asbury College, Wilmore, Ky. He began preaching the Gospel in 1941 at the age of 17 at the East Zion Community Church, Darke County, Ohio. He was an ordained minister with the Christian & Missionary Alliance serving as a Missionary to the Native American District; he also pastored churches in Ohio, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Illinois and Kentucky. Dr. Bailey served in administration as a District Superintendent (Midwest & Ohio Valley Districts), Vice President of North American Ministries and as Managing Editor of Christian Publications. After retiring he became active in the Dunkard Brethren Church serving as an Ordained Minister and Elder in the Cornerstone Congregation. During Dr. Bailey’s years of ministry he wrote 10 books, the last being a study of the book of Revelation.
There will be a service held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 2:30 PM at the Cornerstone Dunkard Brethren Church, 5430 Greenville Falls - Clayton Road, Covington, Ohio. Burial will follow on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11 AM at Abbottsville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 4 - 9 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
