Jacquie Renae Kemp, 53, of Greenville, passed away, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati.
She was born Thursday, February 20, 1964 in Buckhannon, WV, to the late James Arnold and Sue (Pringle) Luckenbill.
In addition to her parents, Jacquie was preceded in death by her brother, Timmy Arnold.
Jacquie had a green thumb. She could grow anything and nurse any sick plant back to health. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Jacquie loved the outdoors and taking her grandchildren on walks through the park. She had a generous heart and would help anyone in need.

Steven Wayne Richards, 42, of Hollansburg, passed away, Saturday, March 25, 2017 at his residence.
Steven was born Thursday, March 20, 1975 in Greenville, to the late Steven Linn Richards and Deveda Sue (Willingham) Richards of Hollansburg.
Steven was a drywall finisher, however, more commonly known for his true passion as a professional motocross rider. He was always training to do that "One More Race". He also admired deeply the late singer and songwriter, Rich Mullins. Through Rich's message he had a profound ability to convey Jesus' love for broken and imperfect people. Steven was blown away that Jesus was crazy in love with him.
In addition to his mother, Steven is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilyn S. (Kevin) Harrison of New Madison and Nicole R. (Rob) Smith of Hollansburg; nine nieces and nephews; and four great nieces and nephews.

Keith Jay Chrisman Sr., age 72 of Arcanum, Ohio passed away at 10:07 AM Sunday March 26, 2017 at his residence. Keith was born August 20, 1944 in Greenville, Ohio and the son of the late Russell and Wilma (Fetters) Chrisman.
Keith was retired as a Dairy Farmer in the New Madison, area.
He was a member of the Castine Church of the Brethren, a Life time member of the American Jersey Cattle Club, former member of the Ohio Jersey Cattle Club, Preble County Jersey Cattle Club, was the Mississinawa Valley 1st American Farmer, was awarded the Outstanding Young Farmer of Darke County by the Greenville Jaycees and was awarded the Outstanding FFA National Crop Farmer.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Rusty Edward Chrisman in 1968.
Keith is survived by his wife Cynthia (Christian) Chrisman of Arcanum. They were married June 28, 1963. Also their children Jay (Brenda) Chrisman Jr. of Arcanum, Hallie (Scott) Foureman of Bradford and Kim (Marvin) Epperson of Camden, Ohio; grandchildren Tailor (Ethan) Weaver, Lucas Chrisman, Colby Chrisman, Stuart Epperson and Cheyeanne Epperson; brothers Jim (Fran) Chrisman of Arcanum and Joe (Bo) Chrisman of Logan; sisters Judy (Richard) Grim of Union City, Ohio and Joy (Paul) Welch of Lexington, KY as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Keith was a life time farmer and a proud miniature horse puller. He was a member of the Darke Rural Electric Board for over 16 years and a longtime member of the New Madison Kiwanis Club.
Keith is survived by his daughter, Mitzi (Daugherty) Marshall and husband Doug; son, Terry Daugherty; sisters, Naomi Shock, Wilma Stump and husband Keith, and several loved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Daniel Charles Nisonger, 77, of Greenville, passed away, Friday, March 17, 2017 at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL.
He was born Saturday, November 04, 1939 in North Star, OH, a son of the late Charles and Rosemary (Barga) Nisonger.
In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his son, Steve Nisonger.
Dan was born and raised on his family farm in North Star. He was a Jack-Of-All-Trades who could do anything he set his mind to. He was a diesel mechanic and could put any truck back together. He played a major role in the building of the house that he and Wilma Jean still live in. Dan was a farmer until his health made it difficult to handle the heavy work load. He was a member of the National Guard for six years and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville. Dan enjoyed all kinds of sports. He would watch NASCAR and Indy Car races. He like watching football games and rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a member of the Greenville American Legion and the Greenville Elks and was a proud democrat.

Dennis Dwight Sebring, 70, of Greenville, passed away, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at State of the Heart Care in Greenville.
He was born Wednesday, August 7, 1946 in Greenville, a son of the late Dwight and Aileen (McClurg) Sebring.
Denn had worked along with his father as a brick mason for 30 years. He then worked at Honda of America at the Anna Engine Plant for 17 years. For many years, he raised black angus cattle. He looked forward to attending the Darke County Fair every year. Most of all, Denn loved spending time with his children and granddaughters.
Denn is survived by his wife of 43 years, Evelyn (Riffell) Sebring of Greenville, whom he married July 7, 1973; his son. Shad and Liz Sebring of Greenville; his daughter, Wendy and Brent Meek of Grand Rapids, OH; granddaughters, Marlie Mitchell, Emma Meek, Ali Meek, Joanie Hall, and Janelle Sebring; sister, Karen Brown of Greenville; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 5:00 PM at the Oliver Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Dennis Riffell officiating. Elizabeth “Betty” Burkholder, age 81 formerly of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 2:00 PM Monday March 20, 2017 at the Ohio Living Home Health Westminster Thurber in Columbus, Ohio. Betty was born January 10, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio and the daughter of the late Robert E. and Minevieve (Myers) Mills.
She was retired from the Greenville City School System where she had taught Special Education and prior she had taught 2nd grade at Franklin Monroe. She was a very active member of the St. John Lutheran Church of Greenville, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a graduate of The Ohio state University.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Herman Burkholder August 23, 2009. Also an infant son Roger in June 1959.
Betty is survived by her children Robert (Vicki) Burkholder of Galloway, Ohio and Kathy Jo Burkholder (Bruce Epps) of Columbus; granddaughter Addy as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday March 25, 2017 in the St. John Lutheran Church 7418 State Route 121-N. Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Brian McGee and Pastor Greg Roth co-officiating. Darin E. Jolley, age 52, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on December 8, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio, to Junior & Wanda (Lewis) Jolley of Greenville, Ohio.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter, Ashley Jolley of Greenville; son, Austin Jolley of Greenville; brother, Doug Jolley of Delaware; and nephew, Matthew Jolley of Delaware.
Darin loved spending time with his family. He was a wonderful; father, son, brother and uncle and will be missed by his entire family.

Shirley Ann Hoff age 75, of Greenville, Ohio, and of Woodbridge, Virginia, passed away on the morning of March 9, 2017, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana, after fighting a short battle with colon cancer. She was surrounded by her daughters and her husband, and had been visited in her last days by those with whom she was close. Shirley was born June 18, 1941, in Brookville, Ohio, to the late Robert Eugene (Sr.) & Onda Fae (Hopper) Matthews. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Milton Dale Aldridge, and her brother, Larry R. Matthews.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Dr. Frederic L. Hoff; daughters & sons-in-law, Jennifer & Dan Bozone of Florida, Rachael Aldridge of Virginia, and Gretchen & Luigi Morfea of New York; step daughters & son-in-law, Michelle & Kevin Attreed of Virginia, and Kelley Hoff of Virginia; grandchildren, Chelsea and Emme Bozone, Nicolas and Christopher Morfea, and Corbin, Amber, and Nolan Attreed; brother, Robert E. Matthews Jr. of New Paris, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Shirley had most recently retired from being a school secretary at Gar-Field Senior High School in Woodbridge, Virginia. She returned home to care for her aging parents in Greenville. She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Dale City, Virginia, the Ohio Farm Bureau in Darke County, and often reminisced about her days as a member of 4H, Rainbow Girls, and the Homemakers Club. Shirley was a lifelong traveler throughout Europe and the United States, frequently visiting family and friends and relatives and seeing the sights along the way. She had earned an associate’s degree from Edison State and had neared completion of a bachelor's degree from the University of Mary Washington.

He was born Friday, May 23, 1980 in Piqua, OH, a son of Darla and Gene Smith of Greenville and Joseph and Karla Walters of Greenville.
Joseph loved fishing and spending time with his family, but his heart and smile was his daughter, Maddalyn.

Michael David Wilson, age 48, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and formerly of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 8:01 PM at his residence where he was surrounded by his family. He was born on March 29, 1968 in Troy, Ohio, to the late Gene P. & Wendy L. (Grubb) Wilson.
He is survived by his sister, Kim (George Hupp) Wilson of Marysville, Ohio; fiancée, Linda Robinson of Bellefontaine, Ohio; aunt, Scherrie Grubb of Huber Heights, Ohio; cousins, Teresa (Darryl) Brewton, Brad (Patty) Grubb, Andy (Ursula) Grubb, Brian (Tracey) Grubb, Chris Miller, Janet (Jerry) Bedwell as well as many second and third cousins; dog, Grover and cat, Moe Kitty.

Ronald "Ron" L. Jeffers, 69, of Greenville, passed away, Tuesday, March 07, 2017 at his residence.
He was born Sunday, June 01, 1947 in West Manchester, OH, a son of the late John and Geneva (Brinkley) Jeffers.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brothers, John David Jeffers and Rickey Jeffers
Ron served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a member of the Greenville Baptist Temple. He loved to go to garage sales, enjoyed going out to eat, loved going to church and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful husband, loving father and caring grandfather.
Ron is survived by his wife of 46 years, Brenda (Martindale) Jeffers, whom he married December 19, 1970; daughters, Rhonda Smith of Germantown, and Krystal (Rob) Lindenborn of Arcanum; grandchildren, Zachariah Smith and Grace Smith, both of Germantown, Blake Lindenborn of Arcanum and a step-grandson, Timothy Russo of Midway Park, NC; his brothers, Steve (Sally) Jeffers and Tim (Judy) Jeffers both of Greenville; his sisters, Connie L. Nicole Marie Lachat, 31, of Greenville, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Tuesday, March 7, 2017.
Nicole was born Friday, December 13, 1985 in Dayton, OH, a daughter of Chris and Barbara (Berger) Lachat of Greenville.
Nicole graduated from Greenville High School in 2006. She was employed by PCS in Greenville since 2006. Nicole was a very social person and loved being around people. She loved spending time with her niece, nephew, family and friends. She loved playing cards with both of her grandmas.

Marvin is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Tania & Tommy Dee Lam of Bradenton, Florida; grandsons, Tommy Lam of Orlando, Florida, Michael Lam of New York City, New York and Justin & Emily Lam of Denver, Colorado; sisters, Inez Clevenger of Union City, Indiana and Myrtle McKnight of Greenville, Ohio; and nieces and nephews.
Marvin was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. (Berner) Lindemuth on December 20, 2008 whom he married July 30, 1948; sister, Marybell Washington; and brothers, Luther, John Edgar and Harold Lindemuth.
Marvin served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired in 1980 from American Aggregates of Greenville where he was a draftsman. Marvin was a 64 yr. member of the Greenville Masonic Lodge #143 where he served as Worshipful Master in 1961 and Chaplain for 18 years. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton; Antioch Shrine Club of Dayton; and Darke County Shrine Club where he was Past-President.

William C. “Bill” Sherry, age 87, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 7:30 PM at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. He was born on October 8, 1929 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Homer W. & Mary E. (Masner) Sherry.
Bill is survived by his wife of 67 years Lucille (Cunningham) Sherry of Greenville, Ohio, whom he married on November 6, 1949; son, Bill (Lisa Evans) Sherry of Greenville; daughter, Connie Reinhardt of Okeana, Ohio; grandchildren, Jason & Julie Reinhardt, Chris & Alexandra Reinhardt, Jacquelyn Sherry, Colton Sherry and Nicole Sherry; great grandson, Jacob Reinhardt; brothers, Robert (Phyllis) Sherry of Greenville and Paul (Bobbi) Sherry of Piqua; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill is survived by his wife of 67 years Lucille (Cunningham) Sherry of Greenville, Ohio, whom he married on November 6, 1949; son, Bill (Lisa Evans) Sherry of Greenville; daughter, Connie Reinhardt of Okeana, Ohio; grandchildren, Jason & Julie Reinhardt, Chris & Alexandra Reinhardt, Jacquelyn Sherry, Colton Sherry and Nicole Sherry; great grandson, Jacob Reinhardt; brothers, Robert (Phyllis) Sherry of Greenville and Paul (Bobbi) Sherry of Piqua; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son in law, Richard Reinhardt; sister and brother in law, Doris & Ellis Shahan; infant sister, Freda Sherry; nephew, Marc Sherry; sisters in law and brothers in law, Mary Ann & James Baldschun, James Cunningham and Jane Sherry.
Bill was a dairy farmer for most of his life and attended Stelvideo Christian Church. He was also an Adams Township Trustee for 11 years and was on the Gettysburg School Board for 8 years. Bill was a man of great faith and his family meant the world to him.
There will be a service held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Tracy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Stelvideo Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.

James "Jim" Jasper Moody, 81, of Ansonia, OH, passed away, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at home surrounded by his family.
Jim was born Wednesday, October 2,1935 in Darke County, OH, a son of the late Lee and Laura (Shook) Moody.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by granddaughter, Christina Michelle Moody, brothers, Lee Moody Jr. and Dan Moody.
Jim was a graduate of Ansonia High School. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was a fifty-year member of the Gettysburg Masonic Lodge, a member of the Ansonia American Legion, Greenville Liar's Club, the Ohio dealer's Association, Ansonia Fourth of July committee, and the Rose Hill Church. He owned and operated Moody's Auto Sales in Ansonia for 39 years. Jim raised Belgian Draft horses and participated in parades and a wagon train.
James is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gail Moody of Ansonia, whom he married Friday, June 8, 1956; his sons, Greg Moody and Cindy Brown of Ansonia, Rick and Nancy Moody of Ansonia, and Dennis and Paula Moody of Greenville; grandchildren, Ryan and Pam Moody, Hillary Moody, Jennifer and Neal Gray, April and Steve Billenstein, Tracy and Trevor Cessna, Brandon and Jessica Moody, Ashley and David Gilpin, and Robby and Ashley Moody. great grandchildren, Deanna, Colin, Gavin, and Tanner Moody, Nathan, Kaitlyn, and Wyatt Gray, Levi and Payton Billenstein, Brogan and Isla Cessna, Colton and Naomi Moody, Moxon and Haddie Gilpin, and Atalie and Aven Moody; his brother, Harry and June Moody of Rossburg; his sister, D'Arleen Waymire of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Phyllis Katherine Hamilton (March 1, 2017)
Phyllis Katherine Hamilton, 91, of Greenville, passed away, Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton.
Phyllis was born Wednesday, November 11, 1925 in Ames, Iowa, a daughter of the late Phillip and Katherine (Dodds) Nordaker.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Hamilton in 2011, and her brother, Richard Nordaker.
Phyllis was a member of the First Congregational Christian Church and the Order of Eastern Star both in Greenville. She enjoyed meeting with her friends for lunch and helping deliver meals on wheels. Most of all, Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her family.

Nolan L. Walters, age 83, of Greenville, Ohio, and formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 2:05 AM at Wayne HealthCare in Greenville, Ohio. He was born on May 15, 1933 in Trafalgar, Johnson County, Indiana, to the late Clarence & Olive (Weddle) Walters.

Judith Ann Beaucamp, 74 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday February 28, 2017 at 9:50 PM at her residence. She was born January 30, 1943 in Muskegon, Michigan the daughter of the late Harry & Roberta (Shenburn) Warulski. She retired from Fram Corp.
She was a member of the Woman of the Moose and the Eagles ladies Auxiliary; she volunteered at the Humane Society and served on the Board; she also volunteered at the Eagles.

Beth Christine Higgins, 53, of Greenville, passed away, Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at State of the Heart Care Center in Greenville.
Beth was born Tuesday, October 15, 1963 in Richmond, Indiana, a daughter of Fred and Shirley (Foust) Clark of Braffetsville.
Beth was a 1983 graduate of Tri-Village High School. She had worked on the production line at Whirlpool for 15 years. She loved camping and boating at Brookville Lake in Indiana and Lake Cumberland in Kentucky. Beth enjoyed scrapbooking, gardening and was an avid collector of coins, especially fifty cent pieces and smaller. She loved to watch her collection of over 800 movies. Most of all, Beth was passionate about spoiling all of her grandchildren.
Beth is survived by her husband of 17 years, Gary Higgins of Greenville, whom she married June, 6, 1998; her children, Daylon and Jessica Poston of Arcanum, Erica and Steve Greer of Bradford, Danelle Poston and Landon Wadkins of Anna, and Vincent and Ashley Higgins of Celina; grandchildren, Kaytlin, Peyton and Steven Greer, Braley and Kolten Smith, Logan Higgins, Hayden Stone, Wesley Ferris and Lilly Hadder; brothers and sisters-in-law, Barry and Virginia Clark of Hollansburg, Darren Clark of Frederick, Maryland, and Christopher and Tanya Clark of New Madison; father-in-law, Harold Higgins of Greenville; mother-in-law, Sharon Prosyk of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.

Paul L. Kochersperger, age 91, of Gettysburg, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 12:28 AM at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville, Ohio. He was born on August 8, 1925 in Mississinawa Township, Ohio, to the late Wilbert H. & Adah (Sheffer) Kochersperger.
Paul is survived by his wife of 72 years, Bernadean E. (Apple) Kochersperger whom he married on August 22, 1944; son and daughter in law, Terry L. & Marlene Kochersperger of Spring Grove, Illinois; daughters & son in law, Paula D. Kochersperger of Greenville and Jeannine Malandrini of North Platte, Nebraska; grandchildren, Darren (Trisha) Kochersperger, Chris Malandrini and Erica (Josh) Crewdson; great grandchildren, Rylee, Mason and Ayden Kochersperger, Kaitlyn, Kiley, Kassidy and Kenny Paul Aden; sister, Marjorie Bridenbaugh of Greenville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, John Kochersperger and sister, Doris Bridenbaugh.
Paul was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Greenville, Treaty Squares, Gettysburg Masonic Lodge #477, Antioch Shrine of Dayton and Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton. He was a member of the United States Navy serving in WWII where he was a Plank Owner of the USS Charles R. Ware. Member of the American Legion in Greenville and Order of the Eastern Star chapter 307. Paul worked as a maintenance welder for General Motors retiring in 1986 after 39 years of service. He was the Street Commissioner in Gettysburg for 20 years, served on the Gettysburg Fire Department from 1953 to 1986 and was an EMT for Gettysburg Rescue. He enjoyed riding his Gold Wing and traveling and camping with his family.
There will be a service held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10:30 AM at St. John Lutheran Church, 7418 St. Rt. 121 N., Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Brian McGee officiating. Burial will follow in the Gettysburg Cemetery, Gettysburg, Ohio, where there will be a Military Graveside Service conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, as well as one hour prior to the service at church.
A Scottish Rite Ring service will be conducted on Friday at 6:45 PM at the funeral home.
