He was retired from the US Navy after a 20 year career and following his military retirement he worked as a Barber at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
Tom was a member of the Greenville Missionary Church and the Venture Out Camp Ground.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Larry John Rismiller and a sister Diane Marie Seger.
Tom is survived by his wife Gwyn (Copley) Rismiller of Versailles. They were married April 29, 1973. Also children Kevin Rismiller of Versailles, Leslie (Jeremy) Fergeson of Columbus, Ohio and Melinda (Andrew) Slayton of Yorkshire; grandchildren Adriana Slayton, Rene` Slayton, Aubrey Fergeson, Jessica Fergeson, Isaiah Fergeson and Jordan Slayton; sister Sue Sharp of Greenville as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at 9:00 AM Saturday October 5, 2019 in the Greenville Missionary Church 1110 North Broadway Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Gary Oser officiating. Private Burial with Full Military Honors has taken place in the Ansonia Cemetery.
