Mr. Donald A. “Bouncer” Beam, 70, of Versailles, Ohio passed away on Wednesday August 5, 2009 at 3:20 PM at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. He was born on May 9, 1939 to the late Stanley & Hazel (Lavy) Beam.Donald was self employed, a member of the United States Army, American Legion in Ansonia, Ohio and was in the Methodist Religion.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by; brothers, William Stanley Beam Jr. and Charles Duane Beam; sister, Rita Elizabeth “Betty” Shotz.
He is survived by; children, Chad Beam of New Weston, Ohio, Jaci Noggle, Randy Beam and Tonya Hawes; 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers in law, Freda & Hubert Reier and Delores & David Partin-Cleveland; brothers and sisters in law, Dale & Cindy Beam, Ralph & Joannie Beam, Harold “Howie” & Deb Beam, Dan & Peg Beam and Roger & Chris Beam; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a service held on Monday, August 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio with Pastor Samuel Hoeflich officiating. Burial will follow in the Brock Cemetery, Brock, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Sunday August 9, 2009 from 2-4 PM at the funeral home. There will be a Graveside Military Service conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions can be made the family to offset any funeral expenses.
