Ron was a truck driver for 40 years which he owned and operated himself. He also was a member of the Greenville Eagles for over 30 years.
In addition to his parents, Ron is also preceded in death by a brother: Bill McClurg, a sister-in-law: Connie McClurg and a great niece: April Peters.
Ron is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Scott Bingham of Greenville; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Nancy McClurg of Celina; nieces and nephews, Rhonda and Rick Peters of Greenville, Jimmy and Shaughn Bingham of Greenville, Michael and Jackie McClurg of Piqua, Michelle and Jack Penny of Piqua, Christina and Fred Plunkett of Piqua and Julie and Ryan Mullins of Greenville; and special friends, Nancy McClurg of Greenville and Barney Tooman, Jim Hayes and Jeff Sorg of Findlay.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 22, 2010 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Bob Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the State Of The Heart Hospice.
