Shirley Mae Tansey, age 70 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday November 14, 2010 at 5:08 AM at her residence. She was born June 15, 1940 in Union Missouri the daughter of the late Clyde & Helen (Scharworth) Rowden. She was a Nursing Assistant for 40 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Brother: Kenneth Rowden.
She is survived by her husband: Alfred “Bill” Tansey of Greenville; Daughters & son in law: Debra & Jeff Anthony of Greenville, Becky Thompson of Williamsburg, Indiana, Diane Cox of Greenville; Grandchildren & spouses: Shaun & Kristi Anthony, Covington, Ohio, Ami Anthony of Greenville, Timothy Reuben Thompson, Jeremy & Christina Phenis; Great Grandchildren: Caden & Drenne Phenis; Sisters & brothers in law: Beverly & Gary Wilmshere of California, Missouri, Norma & Carl Henneken of Union, Missouri, Margie & Charles Manhart, Union, Missouri; Step daughters: Wendy Marie Smith, Morrisville, New York, Barbara Jean Roney, Cobleskill, New York.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday November 19, 2010 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Jim Morehouse officiating. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
