Glenna M. Harshbarger, 92, of Greenville, formerly of Arcanum, died Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Grandview Hospital, Dayton. Mrs. Harshbarger was born in Darke County on January 15, 1919, the daughter of the late Clarence and Zelma (Miller) Shelley. She was a Homemaker and a Mother. Glenna was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Harshbarger, who died April 12, 2005, son Richard E. Harshbarger, and a grandson Craig Harshbarger. She is survived by two sons Robert L. Harshbarger Jr. and wife Joy of Dayton and Gene Harshbarger and wife Connie of Greenville; two daughters Carol McLear and husband Larry of Greenville and Barbara Knobloch and husband Paul of Dayton; nine grandchildren, Lisa Greene and husband Dave, Bryan Harshbarger, Chris Harshbarger and wife Nicole, Dawn Bryan and husband Tim, Laura Van Hoose and husband Eric, Kelly Hegemier and husband Mike, Mike Harshbarger and Eric Harshbarger and Rachel Knobloch; eleven great grandchildren; Brothers Byron Shelley and wife Ellie of Springfield, Oregon and Eldean Shelley and wife Lois of Crossville, TN; Sisters Louise Mack of Carmel, IN and Phyllis Jean Wetzel and husband Duane of Arcanum. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday 1 - 3 PM at the funeral home.
