David Joseph Riddle (October 13, 2011)

David Joseph Riddle, age 61 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Thursday October 13, 2011 at 5:08 PM at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. He was born November 4, 1949 in Covington, Ohio the son of Loretta (Barton) Riddle of Greenville & the late Joseph Riddle. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the V.F.W.

A memorial service will be held on Friday November 4, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Fr. John White officiating. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the VFW or Cancer Association of Darke County.

Wavalene M. Bromagem (October 28, 2011)

Wavalene M. Bromagem, 87, of Greenville, passed away Friday afternoon, October 28, 2011 at her residence.

She was born March 23, 1924 in Portland, IN, daughter of the late James and Ethel (Chew) Eley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bromagem;a daughter, Shirley Ferrante; 6 brothers and 4 sisters.

A homemaker, Wavalene was a member of the Greenville Baptist Temple.

She is survived by her children, Gerald (Shelia) Bromagem, Walter (Debbie) Bromagem, Sylvia (Ivan) Stryker, Nancy (Junior) Bryant all of Greenville, Linda (Jim) Knick, and Judy (Ed) Baker both of Arcanum; 22 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and a sister, Nellie McMurray of Celina.

Services will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, November 1 at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Mark Ridgeway officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 a.m. till 12 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to either Heartland Hospice or the American Heart Association.

Victoria Kindred, 53 of Versailles, Ohio passed away on Saturday October 29, 2011 at 7:07 AM at Riverside Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was born December 26, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Earl Gene Fox of Versailles and the late Madeline Wilson. She was a Real Estate Investor.

She is preceded in death by her mother; Husband: Yewell Kindred; Sister: Regina M. Fox; Grandmother: Effie Barga.

She is survived by her father; Children & spouses: Dara Kindred-Trissel & husband Stacy, Cody Kindred, Julie Miranda & husband: David; Grandchildren: Victoria Grisez, Hannah Grisez, Josiah Grisez, Julianna Miranda, Lila Grisez, Giovanni Miranda, Maris Trissel; Brother & sister in law: Darrin & Tricia Fox; Friend in life: Paul Hayes; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, & friends.

Katherine A. Wilson (October 28, 2011)

Katherine A. Wilson, 72, of Greenville, passed away early Friday morning, October 28, 2011 at her residence.

She was born March 2, 1939 in Tacoma Washington, the daughter, of the late Brian and Angie (Smith) Topping. In addtion to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Wilson.

Katherine had worked as a nurse's aid at Heartland of Greenville for over 20 years.

Katherine is survived by her daughter, Tammany Wilson of Greenville; a foster daughter, Cheryl Huston of Greenville; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson.

Private services will be held later.

There will be no public visitation. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the State of the Heart Hospice.

Robert L. Brubaker (October 27, 2011)

Robert L. Brubaker, age 90 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Thursday October 27, 2011 at 2:54 AM at the Versailles Health Care Center, Versailles, Ohio. He was born April 7, 1921 in Union City, the son of the late Clyde & Dora (Royer) Brubaker.

He was a professional Sign Painter and an Artist. He served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Greenville Eagles, American Legion Post 140, Greenville Elks & an instructor at the Greenville Art Guild.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Sister: Mary Ann Neargardner.

He is survived by his wife: Ramona Jean (Sims) Brubaker of Greenville; Children & spouses: James E. & Marjorie A. Brubaker of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Jo Ann & Mickey Elliott of Brunswick, Georgia, Jerry L. & Babette Brubaker of Grand Rapids, Michigan; numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren; Sister & brother in law: Thelma & Eston Fletcher of North Carolina; Brothers & sisters in law: Gene & Fran Brubaker of Greenville, Paul & Ginger Brubaker of Greenville; numerous nieces & nephews.

Betty M. Hurley (October 26, 2011)

Betty M. Hurley, 85, of Greenville, passed away late Wednesday evening, October 26, 2011 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville.

She was born November 25, 1925 in Jamestown, OH, daughter of the late Roy and Louise (Cline) Sodders. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David Hurley; a sister, Dorothy Leaming; and a brother, Ralph Sodders.

Betty had owned the Snack Shop in New Madison with her husband for 15 years. She was a member of the New Madison United Methodist Church, the Fort Black Eastern Star and the former Treaty City White Shrine.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Robin Fourman of Greenville; grandchildren, Mitzi Marshall, Elwood Kirk, and Terry Daugherty; 4 great grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Sodders of Fairborn.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.

There will be no public visitation. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to State of the Heart Hospice.

Jerome B. “Jerry” Heitkamp, age 85 of Versailles, Ohio passed away on Wednesday October 26, 2011 at 1:55 AM at Versailles Health Care Center, Versailles, Ohio. He was born March 29, 1926 in Maria Stein, Ohio the son of the late Leo & Clara (Bills) Heitkamp. He was a farmer.

He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, lifetime member of NFO, past member of the Versailles & Minster Eagles, past member of the Farmers Union, & past board member of Minster Farmers CO-OP.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 infant grandchildren; Brother: Edgar Heitkamp; Sisters: Dorina Rindler, Evelyn Kahlig, Edna Kahlig; Brothers in law: John Dircksen, Tom Niekamp.

Anna Mae Norton, 93, of Greenville, passed away late Tuesday evening, October 25, 2011 at Wayne Health Care in Greenville, OH.

She was born on March 18, 1918 in Straight Creek, KY, daughter of the late Ben and Lula (Barnes) Stewart. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin I. Norton on January 7, 1997; a son, Billie Norton; 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

Anna was a homemaker and a member of Triumphant Christian Center in Greenville.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Peggy) Norton of AZ, Arnold (Susie) Norton of Union City, IN, Ron (Barb) Norton Of Union City, IN, Donnie (Nancy) Norton of Hartford City, IN, Dan ( Brenda) Norton of Greenville, Teresa (Jim) Mikols of Indianapolis, IN, Sandy (Scott) Marcum of Dayton, OH; 4 foster children, Danny, Ervin, Charlie,Roger; 36 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren: a sister, Emily Messer of Winchester, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Monday, October 31 at 11 a.m. at the Triumphant Christian Center, 1129 S. Town Ct., Greenville with Pastor Sam Shilot officiating and special music by Tommy Renfro and Debbie Shilot. Burial will follow in the Union City Cemetery in Union City, Indiana.

Lloyd L. “Barney” Barnhardt (October 25, 2011)

Lloyd L. “Barney” Barnhardt, age 60 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday October 25, 2011 at 9:10 AM at his residence. He was born July 30, 1951 in Darke County, Ohio the son of the late Wayne E. & Viola (Croyle) Barnhardt. He was a veteran serving in the Untied States Army.

He was a police officer serving as Chief in Versailles, & as an officer in Arcanum, he was also a firefighter for Greenville Fire Department and Rossburg Fire department; he was also a Paramedic; an Orderly for Wayne Healthcare and the Brethren Retirement Community, He also worked for Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery, Ohio.

He was a member of Fort Jefferson United Methodist Church, Versailles Masonic Lodge, Celina Eagles, & the American Legion; he was formerly a member of the Greenville Moose Lodge.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Pamela Bell Anderson (October 21, 2011)

Pamela Bell Anderson, 65, of Delaware, Ohio, passed away in Chicago, Illinois, on Friday, October 21, 2011, of natural causes. She was born on May 10, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio to the late James and Wanetta Bell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Robert Bell and James R. Bell, and her sister Maxine (Bell) Ayers. She is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Christopher and Kylie; granddaughter, Elaine; sister, Betty (Bell) Gridley; and many nieces and nephews. Pam worked in the Purchasing Department at Ohio Wesleyan University for 35 years, before retiring in January 2011.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Pam was a generous spirit, who was the first to help someone in need. She loved children and was ecstatic when she became a grandmother to Elaine in June. She touched many people’s lives and will be missed deeply by all who knew her.

Services will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville. Burial will follow at the Greenville Cemetery. Philip F. Rose (October 23, 2011)

Philip F. Rose of Greenville, Ohio, age 92, died on October 23, 2011. He was born on September 1, 1919 in Englewood, NJ, the son of Philip Christian and Pauline Schwan Rose. Philip and his wife, Theodate J. Rose moved to Greenville in May 2009 after spending the prior twenty four years in Vero Beach, FL following Philip’s retirement from the E.I. DuPont Company in Wilmington, DE. Mr. Rose was also General Sales Manager – Penetone Co. in Tenafly, NJ; Director of Sales – Clarkson Labs, Camden, NJ; Co-owner of Golden State Chemical, Woodside, CA.

Philip and Theodate were married at the First Presbyterian Church in NY, NY on October 2, 1948. Besides his wife, Mr. Rose is survived by two sons, Thomas Philip Rose (spouse Judy Moody Rose) of Florence, MT and Paul Andrew Rose (spouse Loraine Groover Rose) of Greenville, OH. Mr. Rose has a sister, Dorothy Svenson of Cincinnati, OH. Mr. Rose has three grand children Andrea Rose Weigand (spouse Brendan) of Phillipsburg, OH; Alison Rose Hagerman (spouse Brian) of Bozeman, MT and Thomas Andrew Rose of San Francisco, CA. and a great grandchild Benjamin Morgan Weigand. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Morgan Thomas Rose on May 17, 2010 son of Tom and Judy Rose.

Philip was President of the Newtown, CT Chamber of Commerce; Councilman Closter, NJ; Chairman Cub Scouts of Closter, NJ; served on the Board of Trustees, Englewood NJ Hospital; member of the Masonic lodge # 115 A.M. Englewood, NJ; B.P.O.E. lodge # 1991, Redwood City, CA and a member of the Riverton NJ country Club.

Mr. Rose received his bachelor of letters in Journalism from Rutgers University where he began his career as a reporter for the Bergen Evening Record, Hackensack, NJ. Philip F. Rose served six years in the U.S. Army, was editor of Medico, Camp Lee, VA and participated in the D – Day invasion of Normandy where his ship, The Charles Morgan, was sunk by a German dive bomber. Mr. Rose also survived the V-Weapon siege in Antwerp, Belgium. He finished his service as editor of the Berlin Sentinel in Berlin, Germany.

Mary Lou Detrick (October 23, 2011)

Mary Lou Detrick, 82, of Greenville, passed away early Sunday morning, October 23, 2011 at the Versailles Health Care Center.

She was born on January 1, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Alva and Marguret (Sebring) Subler. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Detrick; and a sister, Phyllis Abel.

Mary Lou was retired from Fram/Allied in Greenville where she had worked for 25 years. She was a member of the EUM Church in Greenville.

She is survived by her children, Duane (Christine) Detrick of Greenville and Susan (Ed) Swank of Greenville: grandchildren, Chris (Shannon) Swank, Matt and Kelli Swank, Chad (friend Betsy) Detrick, Jenny (Shawn) Smith; 7 Great Grandchildren; a brother, Bill (Cathy) Subler; sisters, Norma Guard and Luella Swank.

Services will be held Thursday, October 27 at 1 p.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. John Wiltshire officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Memorial Park near Covington, Ohio.

Norine Mae Baker (October 20th, 2011)

Norine Mae Baker, 90, passed away on Thursday, October 20th, 2011, from congestive heart failure, a condition that put her in and out of the hospital several times over the past few months. She was a resident at Heartland of Greenville and was surrounded by members of her family and people who loved her when she went to her heavenly home.

Norine was a lifelong resident of Greenville and was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Baker and her parents, Oneta and Ora “Pete” Weaver, who ran a bicycle and small engine shop on Markwith Avenue. A former resident of Treaty Manor, Norine broke her hip and was moved to Heartland for rehabilitation. Her injury, however, was more severe than imagined and she became a permanent resident of Heartland in October 2006.

Norine is survived by one sister Orleta Duebner, her seven children, Larry R. Baker of Texas, Terry L Baker (& Judy Schneider) of Greenville, James D. Baker of Tipp City, Laque A. Stevens (& Bill Stevens) of Greenville, Jack R. Baker (& Marsha Baker) of Greenville, Manzaneita K. Ehlers (& Larry Braun) of Chesapeake, Virginia, and John A. Baker (& Sonya Baker) of Tipp City. In addition, Norine has 27 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

She will be sorely missed by her family and the many, many friends who knew her. The Baker family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Heartland for all the love, help and compassion they have shown Norine over the past several years.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in the Greenville-Union Cemetery next to her mother, father and two sisters. Lowell J. Marshal (October 19, 2011)

Lowell J. Marshal age 73 of Versailles, Ohio, passed away at 3:20 P.M. on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at his residence. Lowell was born October 26, 1937 in Versailles to the late Wilmer & Lucille (George) Marshal.

Lowell owned and operated the Versailles Feed Mill since 1973. He formerly worked at Weston Paper in Dayton for 13 years and he farmed. Lowell served in the U.S. Army. Lowell was a 1955 graduate of Versailles high School. Lowell was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Frenchtown and served on the church council; Knights of Columbus where he was Past Grand Knight and the Financial Secretary; Versailles Eagles Aerie #2347; Versailles Vet’s Club; and was a buyer for the Darke County Jr. Fair and F.F.A. sales for 38 years.

Lowell is survived by his wife, Judy (Michael) Marshal whom he married September 12, 1964; children, Larry & Darla Marshal of Versailles, Jackie & Dan Kremer of Versailles and Jeff & Beth Marshal of Versailles; grandchildren, Lindsay Marshal, Sarah Rhoades, Lindsey Kemper, Julie Wilson, Derek Oswalt, Samantha Kremer, Sarah Kremer, Ben Kremer, Angie Kremer, Bailey Marshal, Hannah Marshal, Abbey Marshal, Jenna Marshal and Nate Marshal; great grandchildren, Matthew Vogel, Chloe Vogel, Gabrielle Dues, Mya Ellis, Owen Esarey, Noah Rhoades and Jacob Kemper; sister & brother-in-law, Rita & Virgil Kuess of Chickasaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, October 24, 2011 at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Rev. Fr. David Vincent celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles. Opal C. Subler (October 18, 2011)

Opal C. Subler age 101 of North Star passed away at 8:15 P.M. on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Briarwood Village in Coldwater. Opal was born November 19, 1909 in North Star to the late Albert & Agnes (Barga) Henry. On July 23, 1929 she married Alfred H. Subler who died on August 29, 1994.

Surviving are daughters, Dianne Hemmelgarn of North Star, Suzanne Budde of Maria Stein, Barbara (Jack) Feverston and Elaine (Vernon) McEldowney of Centerville; two sons, Richard Subler and Bruce (Darla) Subler of North Star; sisters, Magdalen Niekamp of North Star and Ann Huber of Dayton; a brother, Roger (Alma) Henry of Dayton; sister-in-law, Henrietta Henry of St. Henry; and 15 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Deceased are three sons-in-law, Ed Hemmelgarn, Walter Budde and Al Hemmelgarn; daughter-in-law, Rita (McEldowney) Subler; brothers, Basil and Lawrence Henry; sisters, Mary Bergman and Bernadine Miller; and a grandchild and great grandchild.

She was a life-long member of North Star’s St. Louis Catholic Church and St. Anne’s Sodality.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at St. Louis Catholic Church in North Star with Rev Fr. David Zink celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, North Star. Mr. Menke is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth “Betty” Menke, and four children: Michael (Joan) Menke of Tucson, Arizona, Thomas (Barbara) of Greenville, Susan North (Dan) of Greenville, and Sheryl Hannah of Hamilton. He was wise and loving grandfather to eight, and great-grandfather to twelve.

Mr. Menke was preceded in death by his father Chester Hume Menke and his mother Virginia Meeker Crawford Menke, both of Greenville. Also he was preceded in death by his sister Alice Jean Menke Lieberenz of Elkhart, Indiana, and his brother Richard Menke of Dayton, Ohio.

Services will be held at Oakland Church of the Brethren north of Gettysburg, Ohio at 10 AM on Saturday October 22, 2011, with visitation at 9 AM. Stewart was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed.

Margaret Susan Wiseley, 64, of Bradford, OH, passed away Thursday evening, October 13, 2011 at her residence.

She was born September 8, 1947 in Georgia, daughter of the late Ben H. and Della M. (Haven) Gaulden.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Walter Wiseley; daughters, Jennifer (Shawn) Neves of Bradford, OH, and Kathryn (Peter) Kothera of Portland, Oregon; two brothers, Jim and Tom Gaulden; and three sisters, Debbie Scott, Rebecca Ackerman, and Tina McClain.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Paul William Cole, 87, of Hollansburg, was called home to Jesus on October 15,2011. Paul was born in Lewisburg, Ohio on October 2, 1924 to the late Ira and Hazel (Mangas) Cole.

Paul's family owned Cole's Grocery in Coletown, there he had worked many years as a butcher. Paul's favorite hobby was fishing.

In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his brothers, Charles and Ira Joe Cole

Paul is survived by 2 daughters and son in law, April and Curt Hiatt of New Madison, & Darlene Cole of Dayton; grandchildren, Kelly and Scott Nestor of Bradford, Amy Hiatt of New Madison, Josh Hiatt and T.J. Emma E. (Bevins) Nichols (October 15, 2011)

Emma E. (Bevins) Nichols, 90, of Greenville, passed away at the Brethren Retirement Community on October 15, 2011. Emma was born in Greenville, Ohio on August 12, 1921 to the late Roy and Cora (Sleppy) Bevins.

Emma had been a trimmer at the Neff Lettering Company for 30 years. She was a member of Beech Grove Church of the Brethren where she served as a Sunday school teacher. In August of this year, she and her husband, Ralph, celebrated their 90th birthdays with a big celebration. Emma loved crafting, quilting and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.

In addition to her parents, Emma is preceded in death by three brothers, Marvin Bevins, Johnny Bevins and Lowell Bevins; two infant brothers; and a sister, Evelyn Bevins

Emma is survived by her husband of 69 years, Ralph Nichols of Greenville; a son, David and Elizabeth Nichols of Austin, Texas; two daughters, Patty and Robin Watkins of Brookville, Ohio and Anita and Justin Small of Greenville; grandchildren, Rev. Joe and Gwynne Watkins of Fortville, Indiana, Tara Clark and fiance` James Clinger of Tipp City, Michael and Sabrina Small of Greenville and Heather Small of Urbana; great grandchildren, Micah Watkins, Grant and Kayla Clark and Scarlet Clinger; two brothers, Wilbur and Leota Bevins and Charles and Barbara Bevins both of New Madison; a sister, Dorothy and Gene Cloyd of Greenville.

SUSAN KAYE WILSON (October 14, 2011)

SUSAN KAYE WILSON (NEE BAYLESS) of Greenville, Ohio, passed away October 14, 2011, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was 61.

Susan is survived by her husband of 36 years, Stephen K. Wilson, her mother, T. Maxine Bayless, her sons and their wives Justin (& Jenny) Wilson of Troy, Ohio, and Aaron (& Abbi) and her grandson Evan Wilson of Arcanum, Ohio. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law Doug Wilson of Springboro, Ohio, and Phil Wilson of Beavercreek, Ohio, and her sister-in-law Donna Wilcock of Springboro, Ohio, as well as by her nieces, cousins and their families.

She graduated from Northmont High School, Miami University (Bachelor’s Degree) and Wright State University (Master’s Degree). Sue spent her entire 30-year career in the education & service of special needs students. Her career spanned the counties of Darke, Preble, Montgomery, Miami, & Champaign. She was the original coordinator of the Darke County Special Olympics. She also was among those who established the Franklin-Monroe Youth Soccer Association.

Sue was greatly blessed by the many years of fellowship with & love of the Oakland Church of the Brethren congregation.

Services will be held on Friday October 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Oakland Church of the Brethren 8058 Horatio Harris Creek Road, Bradford, Ohio with Pastor Pete Kontra officiating. Harold C. Phlipot Sr., age 90 of Versailles, Ohio, passed away at 3:45 P.M. on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Versailles Healthcare Center. Harold was born August 30, 1921 in Shelby County, Ohio, to the late John & Margaret (Didier) Phlipot.

On April 20, 1949 Harold married Juliana (Hoelscher) Phlipot who survives. He is also survived by his children, Carol & Marv Ruppert of St. Marys, Nancy & John Overholser of Versailles, Mary Jo & Jerry Hecht of Versailles, Maggie & Keith Dabbelt of New Bremen, Deidre & Kenny Rindler of Ft. Loramie, Harold & Rose Phlipot of Versailles, and Lisa & Ed Schemmel of Maria Stein; son-in-law, Larry Selhorst of Coldwater; 29 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren; brothers, Nicholas Phlipot, Conrad Phlipot and Marion Phlipot; and a sister, Erna Voisard.

In addition to his parents, Harold is also preceded in death by a daughter, Patty Selhorst; a grandson; brother, Victor Phlipot; and sisters, Henrietta Baltes, Kathleen Wehrman, Maxine Monnin and Gertrude Schulze.

Harold was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles. He was also a member of the Osgood American Legion, V.F.W., and Eagles Lodge in Versailles. Harold was a WWII Veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1942 to 1945. He was a Staff Sergeant and served in North Africa and Italy. While in Italy he visited the Vatican and saw the Pope. He spent a week furlough in Switzerland. Harold was a farmer, carpenter and brick layer. Harold loved camping, fishing and craft work. He enjoyed his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Rev. Fr. David Vincent celebrant. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park in Covington. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. Vivian Joy Stormer (October 11, 2011)

Vivian Joy (nee: Betts) Stormer, 99, of Otterbein-Lebanon Retirement Community, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Born in Forest, IN on October 21, 1911, Vivian attained her Associates Degree and taught at the Forest Indiana Elementary School for several years.

Vivian was the widow of the late Reverend Ray Stormer. Reverend Ray along with Vivian served as Pastor at the Versailles Christian Church then The United Church of Christ from 1971 to 1977.

Vivian leaves behind to morn her passing, her loving daughter, Marilyn, and son-in-law Roger Bohnsack of Shelby Township, Michigan, and two grandchildren, Laurie Berkholz of Macomb, Michigan and Ryan Bohnsack of Shelby Township, Michigan and a host of friends through the many Congregations they served through their years in Christ’s service.

A memorial service, celebrating her life will be held this Friday, October 21st, (which would have been her 100th Birthday) at10:30 AM, in the Phillippi Hall at Otterbein-Lebanon Campus.

Mr. James C. Irwin, age 95 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Saturday October 15, 2011 at 12:15 PM at Heartland of Greenville. He was born June 10, 1916 in West Union, Ohio the son of the late Cleston E. & Clara (Bradney) Irwin.

He retired in 1981 as the Darke County Sheriff, an office he held for 14 years. Sheriff Irwin had been in law enforcement for a total of 35 years. He served in the United States Army during World War II.

He was a member of E.U.M. Church of Greenville, Greenville Liars Club, Greenville American Legion, Greenville, V.F.W., Greenville Eagles, Greenville Moose Lodge, Greenville Elks Lodge, United Commercial Travelers, & Ohio Buckeyes Sheriff’s Association.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Jeannette (McFaddin) Irwin; Sister: Ettaleene Hunt; Brother: Robert Irwin.

He is survived by his daughter: Connie Hufnagle of Greenville; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; Brother: Donald Irwin of Greenville; Sister: Helen Oler of West Manchester.

Myron E. “Tony” Keller (October 13, 2011)

Myron E. “Tony” Keller, 88, of Greenville, passed away Thursday morning, October 13, 2011 at the Emergency Room of Wayne Healthcare in Greenville.

He was born September 21, 1923 in Horatio, Darke County, Ohio, son of the late Daniel and Bessie (Tisor) Keller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Margaret Oakes; and brothers, Melvin, Richard and Verl Keller.

Tony had served 6 terms as the Darke County Recorder from 1972 to 1995. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII.

He was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Greenville where he had served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He was involved with the Salvation Army for over 18 years. A charter member of the Darke County Chamber of Commerce he had served as a vice president. He was instrumental in establishing the Greenville Police Department Auxiliary serving as a sergeant and later as secretary. He was a 60 member of the Greenville Masonic Lodge #143. A 50 year member of the Scottish Rite and was a member of the Elk’s Lodge, American Legion and the VFW. A member of the Darke County Democrats he had started the Early Riser Breakfast and over saw it for several years.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen I. (Thompson) Keller, whom he married January 18, 1947; children, Michael E. (Marilyn) Keller of Greenville, Karry L. (Susan) Keller of Laura, Teresa (Phillip) Meade of Chapmanville, WV, and Gloria (Barry) Brinley of Greenville; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Donald of Versailles, Herbert of Piqua, and Zane of Ansonia; a sister, Shirley Schultz of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Tuesday, October 18 at 2 p.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church, 7418 St. Rt. 121 N., Greenville, with Pastor Alan Knoke officiating. Burial with full military honors by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard will follow in the St. John Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, 1000 N. She was born March 15, 1936 in Muncie, IN, daughter of the late Marvin and Helen (Moore) Eley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Ilene VanDeGrift.

A homemaker, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greenville.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Marion L. Whittaker, whom she married September 13, 1954; children, Tony (Teresa) Whittaker of Elburn, IL, Cathy (Don) Kowaleski of Springboro, OH, and Suzanne (Bud) Williams of Tipp City; grandchildren, Lauren and Tommy Whittaker, Matthew Kowaleski, Samantha Williams, and Jessica Williams; and sisters, Phyllis (Tim) Barga of Greenville, Wanda (Richard) Burke of Ansonia, and Pamela (John) Snyder of Ansonia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Monday, October 17 at 2 p.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Joe Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery.

Helen Elizabeth (Rhoades) Anthony (October 11, 2011)

Helen Elizabeth (Rhoades) Anthony, age 89 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 4:31 A.M. Tuesday October 11, 2011 at the Brethren Retirement Center of Greenville following a short illness. She was born May 16, 1922 in Darke County, Ohio and was the daughter of the late George H. and Anna Caroline (Bryson) Rhoades.

Helen was a 1940 graduate of Greenville High School and was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Greenville. She was retired from the Second National Bank of Greenville following 28 years of employment, starting in bookkeeping, then as a teller and later as manager of new accounts. She enjoyed the customers and her work, and was remembered for her pleasant personality and humor.

As an accomplished musician, Helen played both the piano and violin, and for many years sang soprano in the church choir. She loved sewing and quilting by hand, having made many beautiful and perfectly stitched quilts for her family.

Helen was grateful for her life on the farm, which included tending large vegetable and flower gardens, and helping whenever needed in the fields. She loved animals, especially horses and cats.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Carl W. Anthony, to whom she was married October 9, 1948; one daughter, Carolyn Sue Anthony in 2001; and one granddaughter, Lauren Melissa Courtney in 2000.

Helen is survived by one daughter and son in law Deborah and Daniel Lacey of Dayton and one granddaughter and her husband Kristin Elizabeth and Ryan Wilson of Los Angeles, CA; two half-brothers, Steve (Sue) Rhoades of Wardensville, W. VA., and Richard (Marilyn) Rhoades of Greenville; special friends Mary and John Suter of Greenville, and faithful kitty “Rosie”.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 14, 2011, in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 131 East Fourth Street, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Peter Menke officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday one hour prior to the services in the Church.

Don was a lifelong farmer and was retired from Fram in Greenville. After retirement he had worked for the Council on Rural Services.

Don was a very caring, humble and ethical man.

A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 47 years, Roberta M. (Miller) Rogers, whom he married December 28, 1963; children, Renee (Barry) Glasscoe of Pitsburg, Rhonda (Eric, II) Rich of Greenville, and Darren Rogers of Salisbury, MD; grandchildren, Gavin (fiancee, Ann House) Glasscoe, Gentry Glasscoe, Hudson Rich, and Hunter Rich; a brother, Robert Rogers of Greenville; and sisters, Margaret Jane Robinson of California, and Kathleen Phillips of Greenville.

Services will be held Saturday, October 15 at 3 p.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. David Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in the Ithaca Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1 p.m. till 3 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.

Doris J. Townsend (October 10, 2011)

Doris J. Townsend, 86, of Greenville, passed away Monday evening, October 10, 2011 at the Clare Bridge Cottage at Sterling House in Greenville.

She was born March 7, 1925 in Darke County, Ohio, daughter of the late Ernest and Mildred (Effie) Winterrowd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Townsend on June 2, 1972; a sister; Thelma Burkett; and brothers, Donald and Lloyd Winterrowd.

Doris had owned and operated the Lightsville General Store and worked for 29 years in the Darke County Treasurer office. She was a lifelong member of the Community United Methodist Church.

Doris is survived by her children; Mary (Michael) Townsend-Smith of Frisco, TX, and David (Marcia) Townsend of Union City, OH; grandchildren, Mathew D. Townsend, Mason C. (Andrea) Townsend; great grandchildren, Cierra, David, Cole, Madison, Gracie, Mackenzea; a sister, Pauline Coppock of Ansonia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 15, at the Oliver- Floyd Funeral Home, 1000 N. Broadway, Greenville, with Rev. Terry Haworth officiating. Burial will follow in the Teegarden Cemetery near Ansonia, OH.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. till the time of service.

Kenneth R. McNutt (October 11, 2011)

Kenneth R. McNutt, age 73, of Piqua, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at 6:05 AM at Gade Healthcare Center in Greenville, Ohio. He was born on March 29, 1938 in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Lester & Sadie (Klopfer) McNutt.

Kenny worked as a truck driver for Barton’s Trucking. He loved Western movies, puzzles, fishing, planting flowers, and embroidery. He was a member of the Piqua Fish and Game Club and Piqua Eagles.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille McNutt; brothers, Robert and Larry McNutt; and sister, Dorothy Nowlin.

He is survived by his sister, Phyllis McClure of Greenville; special friend, Cynthia Gillard of Piqua, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a service held on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Beamsville Cemetery, Beamsville, Ohio. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Billy J. Richards (October 9, 2011)

Billy J. Richards, 68, of Hollansburg, passed away at Reid Hospital on October 9, 2011. Billy was born in Hollansburg on May 5, 1943 to the late Amon and Letha (Sharits) Richards.

Billy was the owner of Richards Countyside Inn in New Paris for 4 years. He was a member of the American Legion in New Paris and was Commander of Amvets Post 726 in Eldorado. Billy enjoyed cooking, especially at the Amvets. He also enjoyed watching Nascar and many other kinds of sports.

In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his son, Justin Richards; three brothers, Jack, Niles, and Dickie Richards; and three sisters, Lois Perry, Jane Westcheck, and Sue Kenworthy.

Billy is survived by a son, Jason Richards of Hollansburg; a daughter, Angela Richards of Douglasville, Georgia; five brothers, Gene Richards, Danny and Wilma Richards, Gary Richards, Tom and Carol Richards, and Steve and Sue Richards all of Hollansburg; two sisters, Janet Richhart of Versailles and Joan Bennett of Clameth Falls, Oregon.

A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 4:00 PM at Hollansburg Cemetery with the Rev. Eric Fee officiating. Memorial contributions will be accepted at the funeral home to help with funeral costs. There will be a time of remembering following the services at the American Legion Post #708 in Hollansburg.

Larry B. “Jake” Eikenbery (October 9, 2011)

Larry B. “Jake” Eikenbery, age 76 of rural New Paris, Ohio passed away at 8:44 A.M. Sunday October 9, 2011 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. He was born October 14, 1934 in Preble County, Ohio and the son of the late Dorsa and Maxine (Brightenstine) Eikenbery.

Larry was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Army from 1954 until 1956. He received his training at Ft. Knox, KY and served 18 months in Japan. He worked for American Aggregates for 30 years as a heavy equipment operator, retiring in 1993. He also farmed until 2002.

Larry attended the Hollansburg Christian Church and was a member of the New Madison American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Larry is survived by his wife of 56 years Martha (Morgan) Eikenbery. They were married October 22, 1954. Also by a son and daughter in law Larry A. and Christine Eikenbery, granddaughters Brandy Hess and Ashlee (Nathan) Curtner; grandson Larry R. (Angela) Eikenbery; great grandchildren Gavin Hess, Jeighla Hess, Accalia Benton, Jazimyne Meade and Jayden Curtner. Brother in law and wife Leonard and Gerri Morgan; nephews Bill (Peggy) Morgan, Len (Holli) Morgan and Rob (Bonnie) Morgan.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday October 13, 2011 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with the Rev. Dr. Jim Vandermark, Rev. Tony Price and Rev. Sarah was a retired teacher from Bradford High School. She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles, Ohio. She was an avid quilter and volunteered at the Johnson Farm in Piqua, Ohio.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Lutellis McCarty; son, Lutellis McCarty and infant sister, Lela Rife; brother, Billy Rife.

She is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Teresa & Dennis Stryker of Bradford, Ohio, Kathleen McCarty of Oregon, and Sue & Ted Lau of Curtice, Ohio; daughter in law, Marge McCarty of Norcross, Georgia; grandchildren, Joseph, Andrew, Matthew, Joshua, Anna, Micah, Emma, and Elizabeth; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Stites of Dunedin, Florida and Betty Feree of Gahanna, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Carolyn Jeanne (Brown) Eubank, age 69, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 12:25 PM at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville, Ohio. She was born on November 30, 1941 in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Glen Brown and Thelma (Houdasheldt) Brown, as well as a step mother, Helen Brown of Greenville, Ohio.

Carolyn worked as a driver and dispatcher for the Greenville Taxi and Greenville Transit. She was a member of the Greenville Church of the Brethren. Carolyn was a very good cook and always had a happy spirit. She was a very loving and wonderful mother.

She is survived by her son, Greg Eubank of Greenville; brother and sister in law, Don (Barbara) Brown of Sebastian, Florida; nieces and nephews, Mindi and Rob Casella of Richmond Hill, GA and their children Garner and Grant, and Shelli and Russ Grose of Orlando, Florida and their children, Lyndsi, Zach and Blake; step brothers and sisters in law, Ron and Norma Bruner of Greenville and Rick and Marcia Bruner of Arcanum, Ohio; step sisters and brothers in law, Sue and Steve Shaffer of Denver, CO, and Lynne and Harvey Hinshaw of Arcanum, Ohio; as survived by Jamie “Jim” Foutz of Greenville whom she always thought of as a second son; as well as numerous step nieces and nephews.

Gary L. Hittle, age 73, of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 3:30 AM at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He was born on July 3, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Ira & Treva (Strawser) Hittle.

Gary retired from GM Delco Products. He was a member of the United States Army and loved fishing and mowing his yard.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Karilyn (Boldman) Hittle of Arcanum, Ohio, whom he married on September 1, 1961; son and daughter in law, Rodney & Susan Hittle of Arcanum, Ohio; daughter and son in law, Sherry & Scott Baker of Arcanum, Ohio; grandchildren, Amanda and Justin Baker, Austen Hittle, Megan and Adam Sheffield.

Keith Smith (October 4, 2011)

Keith Smith, 54, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday afternoon, October 4, 2011 at the Clare Bridge Cottage at Sterling House in Greenville.

Keith was born November 3, 1956 in Greenville, son of Don and Marilyn Smith.

A Veteran of the US Army, he was a 1975 graduate of Greenville High School.

He had owned and operated Keith's Service and Towing and The Don's Pizza. He was a former member of the Greenville City Council and had served on the Darke County Fair Board.

He was a member of the Darke County Fish and Game Club, the American Legion Post 140, Masonic Lodge #143, Scottish Rite, and the Darke County Shrine Club.

Keith is survived by his wife, Laura (Clevenger) Smith; a daughter, Misty White of Greenville; a grandson, Isaac White; a step son, Levi Stump of Greenville; and brothers, Larry, Lonnie, and Kenny.

Services with full military honors by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 8 at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Pator Eric Fee officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery.

Charles “Charlie” M. Harrison (October 3, 2011)

Charles “Charlie” M. Harrison, age 79 of Lakeview, Ohio and formerly of Greenville, Ohio passed at 10:15 P.M. Monday October 3, 2011 at the Lima Memorial Hospital. Charlie was born July 23, 1932 in Darke County, Ohio and the son of the late Cletus M. and Sylvia K. (Fellers) Harrison.

He retired as a truck driver for Schraders for 21 years and prior to that had been employed for 17 years with the Nestle Company hauling milk. Following his retirement, he worked for 10 years for Cold Storage located in Dayton, Ohio

Charlie was a member of the EUM Church in Greenville, a life member of the Greenville Eagles Lodge and a member of the Moose Lodge of Indian Lake.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Maye (Burroughs) Harrison June 23, 2007; Brother Donald Harrison and Sister Ruth Bixler.

Charlie is survived by daughters and son in law Terri Baker of Lakeview and Sherri and Colt Pepiot of McClellandtown, Pa. Son and daughter in law Marty and Ruth Harrison of New Carlisle, Ohio. Grandchildren and spouses Chad and Alisha Harrison, Chare & Steve Fahly, Chase Baker, James Pepiot, Christine and Mike Beckley, Cara and Tom Barrett, Nicole and Rob Rebmann and Jason Spitler. Great Grandchildren Avery Harrison, Kyle Rebmann, Brandi Rebmann, Gavin Fahly, Hunter Pepiot, Austin Pepiot and Cali Barrett. Sister in law Jaye Westfall of Vandalia and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert J. "Bob" Wentworth (October 3, 2011)

Robert J. "Bob" Wentworth, 92, of Greenville, passed away early Monday morning, October 3, 2011 at his residence.

He was born May 2, 1919 in Rossburg, Ohio, son of the late Stanley A. and Cecil (Hughes) Wentworth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Daniel Cassel and a son-in-law, Frank Zurey.

Bob was a 1936 graduate of Jackson (Mississinawa Valley) High School. He farmed, and later had a milk route with Nestle's until 1955, and retired from Schrader's Tire Greenville after 35 years of service. He was a W.W. II veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Greenville, and the Greenville Masonic Lodge #143.

Bob is survived by his wife of 69 years, Nadine L. (Wigger) Wentworth whom he married January 10, 1942: his children, Robert "Wayne" (Ruth) Wentworth of Neosho, MO., Pamela (Wentworth) Zurey of Manalapan, N.J., and Mark (Diane) Wentworth of Greenville OH.

Additional survivors include grandchildren, Robert "Bob" (Cheryl) Wentworth of Carl Junction, MO., Jennifer (Doug) Wentworth Cassel of Abrams, WI., Rebecca (Phillip) Wentworth Koebbe of Carlinville, IL., Sarah Wentworth DVM of Birmingham, AL., Michael (Debbie) Zurey of Howell, N.J., Susan (Eddie) Zurey Myler of Manalapan, N.J., Adam J Wentworth of Dayton, OH., Kristen Wentworth of Greenville, OH., and Bethany Wentworth of Dayton, OH.

There are 17 surviving great-grandchildren: Kira & Ryan Wentworth; Douglas, Matthew, Benjamin, & Mikayla Cassel, Samuel, Rachel & Eliana Koebbe; Christine, Katie, Emma, Jillian, & Allison Zurey; Corinne, Tommy, & Kelsey Myler; two sisters, Marge Gatewood of Jacksonville, FL. & Betty Fletcher of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Terry Gene Roth (October 1, 2011)

Terry Gene Roth, age 69 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 5:25 P.M. Saturday October 1, 2011 at the Miami Valley Hospital Dayton, Ohio. Terry was born August 21, 1942 in Greenville, Ohio and the son of the late Lawrence and Loretta E. (Trick) Roth.

He retired in 2001 from Textron-Cadillac Gage of Greenville where he had been employed for 36 years as a Senior Supervisor. He was also a veteran of the Viet man War serving in the U.S. Army.

Terry was a member of the Fort Jefferson United Methodist Church, for many years had been the caretaker of the Wayne Lakes Community Building, a member of the Greenville Eagles Lodge, Elks Lodge, Life member of the Greenville V.F.W. and was a delivery driver for Dave Knapp Ford of Greenville. Terry was a “Wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother”.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Jamie Roth in 1994; Sister Patricia J. “Pat” Jones in 2008 and father in law Charles Dale Walker in 2010.

Terry is survived by his wife Sherri “Beaver” (Walker) Roth of Greenville. They were married July 27, 1968. Also sons and daughters in law Terry Neil & Megan Roth of Greenville and Brett Michael and Paula Roth of Vernal, Utah. Grandchildren Whitney Marie Roth, Chelsea Roth, Alexis Roth, Sierra Roth, Jami Roth, Jaydon Roth, Gabe, Mason, Devon, Alyssa and Haliegh. Sisters and brothers in law Linda and Bill Schatz, Sue and Frank Hildebrand, Jody and Jack Smith and Frederick Jones all of Greenville. Rodney N. Ricker (October 2, 2011)

Rodney N. Ricker, 79, of New Madison, passed away on October 2, 2011 at his home with his loving family at his side. Rodney was born on February 5, 1932 to the late Charles and Nellie Ricker.

Rodney worked for many years as a glassworker at Corning Glass and was a 1950 graduate of Arcanum High School. Rodney honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Foresters and American Legion. He enjoyed bowling, farming, being outside in nature, John Deere tractors, and spending time with family especially his grandchildren.

Rodney is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara (Rodgers) of New Madison; two sons, Rick and Kim Ricker of Greenville and Randy and Terry Ricker of Union City, Ohio; a daughter, Rhonda Lavy of New Madison; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Leon Ricker; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Rodney is preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis Johnson and Merna Henninger; a brother, Galen Ricker; a great-grandson, Jorden Pond and a niece, Nancy Ricker.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from 7-9 PM at Braund Funeral Home in New Madison. A Celebration of Life service will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 6, 2011 also at the funeral home with Chaplain Candy Null being asked to officiate. Burial will follow in the Greenmound Cemetery with full military honors given by the Darke County Honor Guard. Violet Jean (Trump) Stull age 83 of Greenville, Ohio, entered Eternal Life with the Father on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 4:05 P.M. at her residence. Violet was born April 25, 1928 in Castine, Ohio, to the late Jesse & Ethel (Snyder) Trump Sr.

In addition to her parents, Violet is also preceded in death by her daughter, Paulette McGriff Zawosky; grandson, R.D. Ritchie; and brothers, Charles, Hubert, Frederick and John Trump.

Violet is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Stull whom she married June 12, 1972; daughter, Joy (Charlie) Dixon; son, James “Jimmy” McGriff; step children, Cindy Deel, Steve, Doug and Ron Stull; grandchildren, Jonathan Arthur, Summer (Doug) Cutler and Autumn Davis; sisters, Lydia Ratliff and Martha (Herbert) Rudy; brother, Jesse Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
