Alice is survived by her husband, Charles “Charlie” Broering whom she married November 27, 1971; daughters & son-in-law, Teresa Broering & Philip Durbin of Boston, Massachusetts and Linda Broering of Vandalia, Ohio; sons & daughters-in-law, Matthew & Kristy Broering of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jerry & Emily Broering of Yorkshire, Ohio and Roger Broering of Michigan City, Indiana; grandchildren, Samantha Broering, Tabitha Broering, Naomi Durbin and Erika Durbin; brothers & sister-in-law, Richard Kremer of Versailles, Ohio and Mark & Doris Kremer of Versailles, Ohio; sisters & brothers-in-law, Jeanette & Gene Brunswick of Celina, Ohio, Eileen & Carl Hess of Caledonia, Ohio, Vivian & Gerry Wyen of Tipp City, Ohio, Bonita & Ralph Seger of Greenville, Ohio and Diana & Kenneth Bohman of Versailles, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Alice is also preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn Broering.
Alice was a registration clerk at Wayne HealthCare in Greenville. She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, November 22, 2013 at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Rev. Fr. Jim Simons celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
