Christopher Shane Short (July 23, 2017)

Christopher Shane Short age 29 of Arcanum, on Sunday, July 23, 2017, the world got a little darker and Christopher gained his wings. Christopher was always there to help someone no matter what, he had the biggest heart. Christopher was born January 13, 1988, in Dayton, Ohio to Stephen & Tina (Hensley) Short of Arcanum.

In addition to his parents, Christopher is also survived by his sister, Amanda Short of Dayton; girlfriend, Courtney Love of Huber Heights; nieces, Deonna Garrett and McKenzie Short; paternal grandmother, Mary Short of Greenville; good friend & cousin, Ian Savage of New Madison; and too many family and friends to mention.

Christopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Short; and maternal grandparents, Chester & Lois Hensley.

A celebration of Christopher’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home 1499 North Broadway in Greenville with Brother Christian Savage officiating. Burial will follow in Gettysburg Cemetery in Gettysburg. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
