John P. Thiebeau (September 4, 2017)

John P. Thiebeau 80 of Versailles, Ohio passed away on Monday September 4, 2017 at 7:44 AM at the Versailles Health Care Center, Versailles, Ohio. He was born December 2, 1936 in Frenchtown, Ohio the son of the late Chalmer & Georgianna (Batty) Thiebeau. He was a mechanic for Thiebeau Auto Service, Elson Ford and retired from Riverside. He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children & spouses: Jane & Douglas Weaver of Versailles, Jerry Thiebeau of Versailles, John & Kristina (Rogers) Thiebeau of Versailles, Tina & Mike Bergman of Versailles, Kathy & Jeff Unger of Greenville; grandchildren: Christy Vogel, Ryan (Arlene) Vogel, Jennifer (Wes) Overholser, Nicolas (Brittany) Thiebeau, Derek Bergman, Arielle ( Jay) Heitkamp, Joshua (Suzie) Schilling, Kenny (Ashley) Schilling, Justin (Britney) Schilling, Kyrie Unger; step grandchildren: Jonathan Unger, Zachary Unger, Seth Unger; 17 great grandchildren; brother: Jim Thiebeau of Versailles; sister: Lois Poly of St. Mary’s, Ohio.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 9, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio with Rev. Fr. Jim Duell officiating. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or American Heart Association.
