Lewis had been employed as the Medical Laboratory Director in Massachusetts as well as a Medical Laboratory Director Consultant for many years. He also served as the Administrator for Medical Dimensions Home Care for many years. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Greenville, Knights of Columbus and was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Crises from 1957 until 1962.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Charise Heiser in 1987.
Lewis is survived by his wife Catherine A. (Yeselavige) Heiser of Greenville. They were married September 30, 1961 in Eynon, Pennsylvania. Also son Mark Heiser of Greenville; sister-in-law Joan Neratka of Toms River, New Jersey as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Friday June 19, 2020 in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church 233 West Third Street Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Father John R. White as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM by the Knights of Columbus in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio.
