Norman Wilbur “Bud” Klosterman Sr. (May 31, 2020)

Norman Wilbur “Bud” Klosterman Sr., age 92 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 11:26 AM Sunday May 31, 2020 of natural causes at the Brethren Retirement Community of Greenville. Norman was born October 29, 1927 in Dayton, Ohio and the son of the late Richard and Ruth (Hinders) Klosterman.

He was retired from farming and carpenter work. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Greenville, loved fishing, travel and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy “Dolly Mae” (Baltes) Klosterman February 20, 2019. They were married April 22, 1950. Also a son Norman Klosterman Jr., grandchildren Josh Born and Patrick Fitzgerald, 1 great grandchild, brothers Clyde Klosterman, Virgil Klosterman, Thomas Klosterman, Jerry Klosterman and Bob Klosterman, sisters Virginia Henderson and Joanne Klosterman Pence, In-Laws Margaret “Meg” Klosterman, Ida Klosterman, George Henderson, Mary Klosterman Whittington and George Forshee.


Norman is survived by his children, Douglas & Donna Klosterman of Celina, Beverley & Jack Born of Greenville, Bruce & Lori Klosterman of Tampa, Florida, Annette & Emmanuel Umoren of Vandalia and Diana & Ted Fitzgerald of Greenville; grandchildren, Douglas & Pam Klosterman Jr., Dulcey & Wes Patterson, Mike & Nicole Hill, Brandi & Ty Figel, Amanda Treadway, Elizabeth & Brent Broering, Tyler & Laura Dailey, Kaitlyn Dailey, Benjamin Fitzgerald and EJ Umoren; 26 great-grandchildren; brother Don Klosterman of Greenville, sister Marlyn Forshee of Greenville, In-Laws Sally Klosterman Downey of Greenville and Kenneth Pence also of Greenville as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in the St. Paul Church Cemetery Sharpsburg, Ohio with Deacon Tom Graber officiating.
