Bernard retired from Fram after 40 plus years of service and also enjoyed being a full time farmer. Bernard love spending time with his family. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy.
In addition to his parents, Bernard was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Mary Frances; sister, Hazel Driscoll; and step great grandson, Austin Waymire.
Bernard is survived by his wife, Maxine (Boyd) Rhotehamel whom he married June 14, 1953; a son, Larry of Charlotte, North Carolina; daughters, Kathy & Steve Waymire of Ansonia and Connie & Gregg Blumenstock of Greenville; grandson, Eric & Kim Blumenstock of Greenville; step grandsons, Todd Waymire & friend Sherry of Greenville and Mike Waymire of Arcanum; great grandchildren, Bryce Michael & Kara Elizabeth Blumenstock; step great grandchildren, Alyssa, Makayla & Noah Waymire; mother-in-law, Dorothy Boyd of Greenville; brother, Norman Rhotehamel of Winchester, Indiana; and sisters, Florence & Jack Wright of Greenville, Velma & Dave Campbell of Ansonia and Ethel & Frank Lenker of Greenville.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Bill Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. Condolences for the family may be expressed through www.zecharbailey.com
