Wilbur D. Bridenbaugh (May 8, 2011)
Wilbur D. Bridenbaugh, 90, of Greenville, died Sunday evening, May 8, 2011 at Heartland of Greenville. Mr. Bridenbaugh was born in Darke County on October 23, 1920, the son of the late Rueben and Clara Belle (Schaffer) Bridenbaugh. Mr. Bridenbaugh was a employee of Frigidaire, retiring in 1975. He was a member of EUM Church, Greenville; member of the Eagles, Moose, and Elks Lodge, Greenville; Past Master and over 50-year member of the Arcanum Masonic Lodge #295; Antioch Shrine Club, the Hillbilly's Shrine Club, and the Darke County Jeepsters. Wilbur was preceded in death by his 1st wife Doris (Christenson) Bridenbaugh, who died February 2, 1979, 2 Brothers Rollin and Henry Bridenbaugh, and his Sister Lorene Althouse. He is survived by his wife Marjorie (Kochersperger) Labig Bridenbaugh; Daughters Carrol Lee Boardman of Kingwood, TX, Judy Caupp and husband Keith of Englewood; Sons W. Duane Bridenbaugh, Jr. and friend Martha Pooley of Edwardsville, MO and Thomas Labig and wife Deb of Greenville; Grandchildren Gregg (Janine) Bridenbaugh, Dr. Stephanie Bridenbaugh, Stacey (Michael) Purcell, Sean (Christine) Boardman, Cheryl (Corey) Shockey, Kurt (Tiff) Labig, Beth (Kerby) Wilcox; Great Grandchildren Claire, Connal, Cade, and Cole Purcell, Jack, Beau, and Troy Boardman, Andrew and Emily Bridenbaugh, Andrew Shockey, Kie and Keely Labig, Kiersten and Kenna Wilcox. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum with Rev John McRoberts officiating. Burial will follow in Mote Cemetery, Pitsburg. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday 5 - 8 PM at the funeral home. Arcanum Masonic Lodge #295 will conduct a Lodge of Sorrow Service Friday at 8:00 PM. The Family suggests memorial contributions to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45229-3095.
