A.J. Waymire age 80 of Rossburg, Ohio, passed away on Thursday June 9, 2011 at 6:37 PM at his daughter’s residence. He was born September 26, 1930 in Darke County, Ohio the son of the late James & Mildred (McKhann) Waymire. He worked for AVCO New Idea in Coldwater, Ohio retiring in 1992. He was a member of Community United Methodist Church, Union City.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister: Phyllis June Zeller; Brother in law: Glen Fourman.

He is survived by his Wife: Maxine (Shook) Waymire of Rossburg whom he married February 11, 1950; Children & spouses: Karen & Eric Link of Portland, Indiana, Katie & Larry Hummel of Rossburg, Randy Waymire & JoAnne Trick of Rossburg, Ruth & Bill Fourman of Rossburg, Nancy & Roger Songer of Abingdon, VA; 19 grandchildren & spouses; 35 great grandchildren; Sisters & brothers in law: Jean Fourman of Greenville, Dorothy & Robert Bubeck of North Star, Retha Bubeck of Greenville; Brother & sister in law: J.C. & Darlene Waymire of Greenville; Brother in law: Raymon Zeller of Versailles; numerous nieces & nephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday June 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Chris Barhorst officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Twp. Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday June 13, 2011 at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
