Lisa was a devoted mother and wife as well as a devoted servant to her family and church. She was a member of the Castine Church of the Brethren and graduate of Tri-Village High School Class of 1987.
She was also preceded in death by a sister Myra Kay Bevins August 14, 1953.
In addition to her father, Lisa is survived by her husband William Jacob “Bill” Metzcar of New Madison. They were married September 7, 1991. Also by her daughters Leah Metzcar, Loryn Metzcar and Leana Metzcar. Sons Jacob Metzcar, Joshua Metzcar and Josiah Metzcar all at home. Sisters and brothers in law Vivian & Tom Dailey and Pamela & Samuel Graves all of Greenville. Brothers and sisters in law Douglas & Anna Bevins of Arcanum and Dwight & Corine Bevins of Greenville. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday August 18, 2012 in the Castine Church of the Brethren 624 US Route 127-South Castine, Ohio with Pastor Greg Hyre officiating. Burial will follow in the Hollansburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M. in the Castine Church of the Brethren.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions for Lisa be given to the Metzcar family for her husband to determine how to direct the funds in her honor.
