Marjorie Anne (McElwain) Clum age 83 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 9:16 AM at Hospice of Dayton, Ohio. She was born on November 16, 1928 in Lima, Ohio to the late Richard Clair & Ethel E. (Hefner) McElwain.Marjorie was a homemaker and worked at West Side Elevator in Greenville, Ohio retiring in 1990. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church where she served in many capacities. She especially loved her grandchildren and never missed one of their events.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband C. Gerald “Curly” Clum, and granddaughter, Laura Clum.
Marjorie is survived by her children and their spouses, Sara Beth Cutarelli of Greenville, Scott (Jane) Clum of Greenville, Spencer (Patty) Clum of Spencerville, Ohio, Amy (Jim) Hanes of Union City, Ohio, and Brian (Pamela) Clum of Union City, Ohio; grandchildren, Tim (Pamela) Cutarelli, Aaron Cutarelli, Beth (Roddy) Guest, Ruth (Troy) Mendenhall, Paul (Camera) Clum, Jesse Clum, Jacob (Jonelle) Clum, Rachel (Chris) Massie, Zac Clum, Joshua (Nicia) Hanes, Joe (Mary) Hanes, Jennie (Chris) Merry, Jamy Hanes, Rebecca (Brant) Watson, and Richard Clum; 21 great grandchildren; brother, Alan (Judy) McElwain of Meadville, Pennsylvania; sister in law, Dorothy Clum of Ada, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Andy McElwain, Adam McElwain, Katy Sutherland, Peter McElwain, and Ann Marie Oestereich; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
There will be a service held on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 131 E. 4th Street, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Peter Menke officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Wednesday November 7, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville as well as Thursday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of services at the church.
