Mary (Martin) Pullins age 83, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at 9:32 P.M. on Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Kettering Medical Center. Mary was born November 8, 1933 in Seneca County, Ohio, to the late Grover & Jennie (Zuber) Pingle.
Mary is survived by her children, Kathy & Ralph Gehret of St. Marys, Robin & Lloyd Fickert of Celina, Steve & Deb Martin of Milford, Daniel Martin of California, Kerry & Jane Martin of Waynesfield and Jenny & Tim Keiser of Versailles; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mary was also preceded in death by her 1st husband, Ted T. Martin; 2nd husband, Ralph Pullins; and son, Mark Martin.
Mary retired from Honeywell (Fram Corporation) in Greenville.

Donna J. Bridenbaugh, age 70 of Arcanum, Ohio passed away at 7:40 PM Sunday November 20, 2016 at the Miami Valley Hospital Dayton, Ohio. Donna was born March 5, 1946 in Arcanum.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Donna was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Pitsburg, Ohio where she was a Deacon and an avid member of the Quilt Ministry. She was also an officer in the Order of the Eastern Star. Donna was retired from Wayne Hospital of Greenville where she worked in the Registration Department for 14 years.
She will be greatly missed by her husband of 50 years, Ronnie Bridenbaugh of Arcanum; daughters Pam (Brad) Sherman of West Milton, Angie (Bob) Haston of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Terri (John) Thobe of Versailles; grandchildren Matthew and Rachael Horner, Adam (Sarah) Sherman, Claire Sherman, Alexis and Jaeda Marshall, Amanda and Andy (Shannon) Haston, Kalysta and Devyn Thobe; great grandchildren Ethan Sherman, McKenna Haston and Kayleigh Jones as well as many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday November 23, 2016 in the Trinity Lutheran Church 8520 Oakes Road Pitsburg, Ohio with Pastor Mel Musser officiating. Burial will follow in the Mote Cemetery. Phyllis Jean (Altic) Schoenleben (November 16th, 2016)
Phyllis Jean (Altic) Schoenleben died peacefully on November 16th, 2016 at the Brethren Community Retirement Home in Greenville, Ohio at the age of 88, after suffering from dementia. She is survived by her husband, Glen Schoenleben of Greenville, and two Grandsons Adam Eichenauer of Hawaii and Alan Eichenauer of the Virgin Islands. Brothers Richard, William and James. Sisters Shirley & Mary.
Phyllis was born May 26, 1928, the daughter of Cecilia (Hannan) Altic and Ambert Guy Altic who both proceeded her in death. She graduated from Westside High School in Union City, Indiana in 1947. She married Glen (the love of her life) on December 24, 1947 and they were married nearly 69 years.
Phyllis worked as a waitress, for a doctor and as a telephone operator for many years as well as a housewife her entire life. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crafts and reading. She and Glen had one child Sharon (Eichenauer) Schoenleben who proceeded her in death in 2014.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday November 19, 2016 in the First United Methodist Church 202 West Fourth Street Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Terry Cavanaugh officiating. He was a graduate of Greenville High School; was active in Greenville Little League Baseball; He was an avid lover of sports; he loved the Ohio State Buckeyes; the Cleveland Browns; the Cincinnati Reds; the Dayton Flyers; Dayton Dragons; he loved to have fun and loved spending time with his family especially his 1 year old grandson.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Glenna E. (Eubank) Batten whom he married September 24, 1960; sons & daughters-in-law, Douglas R. Batten & Linda Robinson of Richmond, Indiana and Jeffrey A. & Jeanne Batten of Englewood; grandchildren, Katie Shuttleworth, LaNelle Tuggle, Camron Batten, Liam Batten, Colin Batten, Chasity Shepherd and Christina Burdge; several great-grandchildren; twin brother, Larry J. Batten of Versailles; sister-in-law, Betty Batten of Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jerry was also preceded in death by his sisters, Marjorie Cyphers and Joanne Cruze; and brothers, Delmer Batten and Lloyd Batten.
Jerry retired in January 2004 from JV Products in Arcanum where he worked for 31 years. Jerry also worked at Staub Laser in Dayton for 5 years and Raymath Company in Troy for 3 years. Jerry was a member of Woodington Congregational Christian Church. He was caretaker for Butler Township Cemetery for many years. Jerry saved pop can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House and aluminum cans for the Shriners.

Jeanne (Pendlum) Wion age 96, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at 8:30 PM on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville. Jeanne was born February 10, 1920 in Greenville to the late Ed & Lottie (Metzcar) Pendlum.
Jeanne is survived by a son & daughter-in-law, John & Judy Wion of Greenville; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Jeanne was also preceded in death by her husband, David A. Wion; son, David I. Wion; daughters, Cynthia Wion and Sydney Covault; son-in-law, Bob Covault; sisters, Virginia Bowan, Betty Holmes and Patricia Sullivan; and brother-in-law, Clisba Sullivan.
Jeanne was a bookkeeper at the former Stecker Co and Goodyear in Greenville. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Greenville where she was a Sunday School Teacher for 11 years and choir member for 10 years. Jeanne was also a member of the Greenville Moose and Eagles.

Jeanne was a bookkeeper at the former Stecker Co and Goodyear in Greenville. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Greenville where she was a Sunday School Teacher for 11 years and choir member for 10 years. Jeanne was also a member of the Greenville Moose and Eagles.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Greenville Cemetery with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. She also was involved with the Mission Committee where she traveled on 6 mission trips. Virginia retired in 1978 from Fram after 25 years of service. She also was a LPN until 1997 and worked at the Brethren Retirement Community for 10 years. She loved crocheting and square dancing.
There will be a service held on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Peter Menke officiating. She was born Sunday, April 23, 1916 in Pulaski, KY, a daughter of the late Frank and Maude (Cundiff) Campbell.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Leis whom she married May 27, 1936; five brothers, Sam, Jake, Richard, Gene and Neal Campbell; five sisters, Edna Lenker, Daisy Subler, Aileen Mason, Betty Brown and Pauline Zechar.
Gertie was a member of the First Church of God Ansonia where she taught Sunday School. She enjoyed gardening and quilting.

Harry B. Siculan, age 81 of Greenville, Ohio passed away peacefully at 5:42 PM Monday October 31, 2016 at the State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in Greenville after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Harry was born September 15, 1935 in Martins Ferry, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Eva (Siandrau) Siculan also of Martins Ferry, Ohio
Harry graduated from South High High School of Columbus, Ohio and attended The Ohio State University. He served four years in the US Coast Guard as a Fire Control Technician and was a member of the Elks Lodge #1139 of Greenville for many years. He was also a member of the Family Motor Couch Organization with the number 113169, a huge OSU Buckeye fan, enjoyed cars, playing cards, spending time with his family and many friends and watching the Bill O’Reilly Show on FOX. He was also the founder of Bradford Optical of Greenville.
Harry leaves behind his loving and devoted wife Carolyn (Lowry) Siculan of 56 years; his son Thad (Lavonne) Siculan and daughter Darcy (Sean) Boston; grandchildren John Boston, Jesse Boston, Susan Boston, Elle Siculan and Eva Siculan as well as brothers and sister-in-law Lon (Barb) Lowry, Jim Lowry and nephews, nieces and cousins.

Harry graduated from South High High School of Columbus, Ohio and attended The Ohio State University. He served four years in the US Coast Guard as a Fire Control Technician and was a member of the Elks Lodge #1139 of Greenville for many years. He was also a member of the Family Motor Couch Organization with the number 113169, a huge OSU Buckeye fan, enjoyed cars, playing cards, spending time with his family and many friends and watching the Bill O’Reilly Show on FOX. He was also the founder of Bradford Optical of Greenville.
Harry leaves behind his loving and devoted wife Carolyn (Lowry) Siculan of 56 years; his son Thad (Lavonne) Siculan and daughter Darcy (Sean) Boston; grandchildren John Boston, Jesse Boston, Susan Boston, Elle Siculan and Eva Siculan as well as brothers and sister-in-law Lon (Barb) Lowry, Jim Lowry and nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday November 4, 2016 in the Trinity United Methodist Church 112 West South St., Arcanum, Ohio with Pastor Doug Baker officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio and on Friday from 9:30 AM until time of the services in the church. Betty J. (Cecil) Cole (October 29, 2016)
Betty J. (Cecil) Cole, 85, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Heartland of Greenville with her family and State of the Heart Hospice at her bedside. Betty was born October 13, 1931 in Albany, Indiana, a daughter of the late Wilber and Ruth (Davis) Cecil.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son, Troy Cole and daughter, Tanya Cole, sister, Loretta Collins and brothers, Francis, Robert and Junior Cecil.
Betty was a member of the Triumphant Christian Center and a past longtime member of the American Legion Post #140 Ladies Auxiliary. Betty loved spending time and visiting with her family and friends, She enjoyed eating out, going to church and shopping. She was a very special person who was loved by many and she will be very greatly missed. She retired from Heartland of Greenville where she had been a resident for the past 5 months. She was loved like family by many staff, residents and volunteers.
Betty is survived by her son and daughter in law, Doug and Lisa Cole of Greenville; grandson, Dwain (Buffie) Hodge of Kentucky; great grandson, Dwain (Haley) Hodge II of Greenville; sister, Marie Coughlin of MN; brother, Paul Cecil of Muncie, IN; and wonderful nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 1:30 pm at the Triumphant Christian Center, 1129 South Towne Court, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Sam Shilot officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Triumphant Christian Center from 11:30 until time of services.

John D. Widener, 69, of New Weston, OH, passed away, Friday, October 28, 2016 at his residence.
John was born Wednesday, September 3, 1947 in Dayton, OH, a son of the late John and Evelyne (Mitchell) Widener.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Julia (Hawes) Widener, sister, Sue Frye, and brothers, Albert and Eddie Widener.
John served his country honorably in the U.S. Marines and was a Vietnam Veteran. John was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals fan. He enjoyed watching Nascar. He was devoted to caring for his wife and son, Rodney.
John is survived by his children, Eric and Kelly Widener of New Weston, John William and Missy Widener II of Rossburg, Rodney Widener of Union City, April (Widener) and Shawn Dickey of Osgood, Marlyn Widener of Vandalia, OH; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Bowman of FL and Roselynne Widener of Rossburg; brothers, Raymond Widener of Rossburg, Ronald and Kathy Widener of Rossburg, Dann and Pam Widener of Rossburg, and Jim and Deb Widener of South Charleston, OH.
