Jeanne (Pendlum) Wion age 96, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at 8:30 PM on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville. Jeanne was born February 10, 1920 in Greenville to the late Ed & Lottie (Metzcar) Pendlum.
Jeanne is survived by a son & daughter-in-law, John & Judy Wion of Greenville; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Jeanne was also preceded in death by her husband, David A. Wion; son, David I. Wion; daughters, Cynthia Wion and Sydney Covault; son-in-law, Bob Covault; sisters, Virginia Bowan, Betty Holmes and Patricia Sullivan; and brother-in-law, Clisba Sullivan.
Jeanne was a bookkeeper at the former Stecker Co and Goodyear in Greenville. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Greenville where she was a Sunday School Teacher for 11 years and choir member for 10 years. Jeanne was also a member of the Greenville Moose and Eagles.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Greenville Cemetery with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Care. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
