James retired in 2016 from Weaver Brothers of Versailles and enjoyed working on cars as well as models.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his Mom Geneva Mabel Fletcher, sister Patricia Copeland and brother Leon Talton Fletcher Jr.
James is survived by his wife Mabel (Crabtree) Fletcher of Union City, Indiana; sons Jody (Brandy) Vanhoose of Grenville and James (Ashlee) Fletcher Jr. of Rossburg; step children Sharon Crabtree of Tipp City, Gayla Crabtree of Greenville and Gary Crabtree Jr. of Union City, Indiana; grandchildren Kristen, Jonathon, Madison, Noah, Autumn and Caleb; step granddaughter Crystal; great grandson Eli; sisters Lavonne Blanton and Lillian McDermott; brothers Curtis Fletcher and John Fletcher as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM Saturday July 14, 2018 in the First Assembly of God 7219 State Route 118-N Greenville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers the family would desire Memorial Contributions be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
