Virginia Mae Gibson, 89, of Greenville, and formerly of Ansonia, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2018 at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville, Ohio.
Virginia was born on September 3, 1928 in Preble County, Ohio, to the late Andrew and Helen (Bryant) Fellers.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Forest W. Gibson; her daughter, Regina Delk; her son-in-law, Brian Delk; her daughter-in-law, Diane Gibson; her sisters Betty Wells, Pauline Bevins, Mary Francis Tegtmeyer-Barnhardt; and her brothers, Billy Fellers, Eldrid Fellers, and Charles Fellers
Virginia and her husband had attended Beamsville Christian Church for many years and they were members of the Swinging 8's Square Dance Club.
Virginia is survived by her children, Forest W.(Cynthia) Gibson, Jr. of Greenville, Rebecca (John Jr.) Lewis, of Arcanum, Robert D. (Josie) Gibson of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Scott (Diana) Gibson, Stacey (Tony) Alexander, Kristie ( Chris) Stump, Jeremy (Angie) Lewis, Robert (Jen) Gibson, Adam (Hallie) Gibson, Jenni Carr, Meghan (Chris) Foster, Alyssa (Scott) Wetzel, Jeff (Colleen) Johnson, and Kristin (Jeff) Gillis; 14 great-grandchildren and one due in September; her brother, Hubert Fellers of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 12 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus with Pastor Doug Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends may visit on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 11 AM until time of services.
