Ruth E. Zumbrun, 95, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at Greenville Health and Rehab.
Ruth was born on October 13, 1924, in Union City, Indiana, to the late Roscoe and Emma Stullen.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Zumbrun: her granddaughter, Amy Bolin; and her sisters, Maxine Welbourn, Antoinette Sickles, and Betty Livingston.
Ruth was a hardworking woman and instilled her work ethic into her children. She was a farmer's wife; she drove the tractor and tended to the fields and animals. She loved horses and enjoyed going to horse shows. In her younger years, when she wasn't toiling at home, she would go bowling, and would even bowl a perfect game a time or two.
Ruth is survived by her children, Cynthia Fisher and her husband, John, of Greenville, Tracy Zumbrun of Greenville, Marcia Tucker of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Tammy Bolin and her husband, Jim, of Greenville, and John Zumbrun Union City, Ohio; and his eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services for Ruth will be held at Teegarden Cemetery, near Ansonia, at the convenience of the family.
