Helen Marie Morris, age 101 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday April 27, 2010 at 2:28 PM at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville, Ohio. She was born March 19, 1909 in Darke County, Ohio the daughter of the late Art & Ada (Henderson) Routzong.
She was a homemaker and a floral designer for several flower shops. She was a member of Painter Creek Church of the Brethren and the Gettysburg Garden Club.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Husband: Clarence Morris whom she married on September 28, 1926; Son in law: Alvin “Junior” Riegle; Brother: Dale Routzong; Sisters: Martha June Hollinger, Mildred “Babe” Routzong.
She is survived by her daughter: Ruthanna Riegle of Greenville; & friends: Frank & Alex Marchal.
Services will be held on Saturday May 1, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor David Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice or Painter Creek Church of the Brethren.
