Jon D. "Jay" Wolfe (April 21, 2010)

Jon D. "Jay" Wolfe, 71, of rural Arcanum, died Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Wayne Hospital. Jay was born in Sidney, Ohio on December 26, 1938, the son of the late Clarence and Nancy (Chalmers) Wolfe. He was a retired sheet metal worker for Local 24, Dayton. Jay is preceded in death by his wife Audrey (Rudd) Wolfe who died May 25, 2006, a brother Gale Wolfe and a sister Patricia Frye. He is survived by daughter Donna Guy of Huber Heights; son Norman Whiteman and wife Beverly of Desoto, TX; 4 grandchildren Troy, Adam, and Andrea Whiteman and Leslie Guy; 5 great grandchildren; brother Tom Wolfe of Sidney and a very good friend and neighbor Bonnie Horner. Funeral Services will be held Noon on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum with Rev. Tim Lehman officiating. Burial will follow in Mote Cemetery, Pitsburg. The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday 1 hour before the time of service at the funeral home.
