Dan L. Miley, 71 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Sunday February 17, 2013 at 3:22 PM at Good Samaritan Hospital Dayton, Ohio. He was born June 19, 1941 in Greenville, Ohio the son of the late Z.H. & Mary L. (Teaford) Miley. He was a grain farmer. He served in the United State Army during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Greenville High School class of 1959, a lifetime member of the FFA, and was a member of the Treaty City Amateur Radio Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife: Ronda Miley; Son & daughter in law: Nathan & Erin Miley of Greenville; Granddaughters: Nevan, Nola, & Nalayna; Brother & sister in law: David & Janet Miley of East Peoria, Ill.
Services will be held on Saturday February 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at EUM Church 1451 Sater Street Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Jeff Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Nashville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday at the church. Veteran’s graveside services will be conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard. Arrangements are being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be given to the National FFA Alumni Association for future scholarships.
