She was born February 1, 1928 in Russia, Ohio to the late Norbert F. & Bertha M. (Pepiot) Monnin. She married Marion A. Grillot on May 3, 1947 at St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia, Ohio. He survives in Russia.

She was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church and a 1946 graduate of Russia High School. She was a cook for the Russia Community Center for 18 years. She was also a homemaker, loved flower gardening, genealogy and sewing.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at St. Remy Catholic Church with Rev. Frank Amberger celebrant. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 5 and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 6. Burial will take place in St. Remy Cemetery.
