Jackie is survived by her children, Steve & Carol Beumer of Holland, Michigan, Kevin & Angela Beumer of Greenville, Ohio, Craig & Tracey Bruns of Greenville, Ohio and Melissa & Kent Wentworth of Greenville, Ohio; grandchildren, Tiffany Beumer and Bonita Wentworth; brother, Charles “Dick” Smith of Versailles, Ohio; sisters, Sue Benzies of Tipp City, Ohio, Joan Brandt of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Norma Jean Clark of Greenville, Ohio and Connie Cottrell of Normal, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jackie is also preceded in death by her husband, Berlen G. Minnich; brother, Norman Smith; and sisters, Wanda Bayman, Dorothy Hemmerly and Carol Mae Elson.
Jackie was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Steve Short officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
