Joan E. (Cole) Clark, 86 of Palestine, Ohio passed away on Saturday May 24, 2014 at 6:03 PM at the Sterling House Clare Bridge, Greenville, Ohio. She was born September 12, 1927 in Palestine, Ohio the daughter of the late Carl C. & Eco L. (Rolfe) Cole. She was a teacher at New Madison Schools and Greenville City Schools.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister: Phyllis Dubbs; brother: Ben Cole; son in law: Lyle Moss.

She is survived by her husband: Fred C. Clark of Greenville; daughters & son in law: Jennifer & Tom Bish of Greenville, Cathy Moss of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren: Kelly Herzog, Elizabeth Laffan, Clark Moss, & Robert Moss; 7 great grandchildren.

A private graveside memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
