Samuel J. “Sam” Barga, 19, of Greenville, passed away Saturday evening, August 1, 2015, from injuries sustained in an auto accident near New Madison.
He was born December 6, 1995 in Greenville, son of Scott F. and Linda S. (Rinker) Barga of Greenville.
Sam was a 2014 graduate of Greenville High School. He was a HVAC technician with Barga Heating, A/C and Refrigeration. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville.
In addition to his parents, Sam is survived by his sister, Sereena Barga of Greenville; a brother, Shane Barga of Greenville; paternal grandmother, Cookie Barga of Greenville; maternal grandmother, Sue Rinker of Dunkirk, IN; God parents, Janell and Sean Conlon of Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jerry Barga and James Rinker.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 7, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Ft. Jefferson.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 6, from 4-7 p.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with a prayer service being offered at 3:45 p.m.
