He is survived by his wife of 55 years Carol (Kaughers) Class of Greenville, Ohio, whom he married on June 4, 1960; son and daughter in law, Brian & Patty Class of Greenville; grandchildren, Sarah Harter, Ryan Class, Rachel Class and Kyle Harter; great grandchildren, Hunter, Summer and Jacob Harter; brothers and sisters in law, Roger & Marjorie Class of Greenville and David & Sandy Class of Marysville, OH; sisters and brother in law, Linda Anderson of Florida and Phyllis & Jim Holsinger of Covington, OH; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Sue (Class) Hollinger; brother, Robert K. “Bob” Class; sisters and brothers in law, Helen & Delbert Stephan, Jean Class and Ray Anderson; step father, Harvey Paulus.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling and working on lawnmowers.
There will be a service held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Sylvia McKibben officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
