He was a retired forklift operator and farmer.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife: Irene (Mertz) Rismiller of New Weston; children & spouses: Aaron & Morgan Rismiller, Elaine Rismiller, Philip & Melissa Rismiller, Alan & Renee Rismiller; granddaughters: Sophia, Charlotte, & Lexie; brothers & sisters & spouses: Carolyn & Marvin Fourman, Virgil Rismiller, Judy Nast, Nelson Rismiller, Harold Rismiller & Robin Wolfe, Mark Rismiller, Joyce Swisher, Gloria & Mark Burns, Faye & Rick Harmon; numerous nieces & nephews.
Services will be held on Thursday December 22, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Bill Maki officiating. Burial will follow in St Bernard Catholic Cemetery, Burkettsville, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday December 21, 2016 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
