Harold Victor French (May 7, 2018)

Harold Victor French, 98 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Monday May 7, 2018 at 11:30 PM at the Brethren Retirement Community. He was born November 26, 1919 in Butler Twp., Darke County, Ohio the son of the late Hershel French & Cora (Emrick) French Miller. He was a farmer and also worked at Producers Stockyard. He was a member of EUM Church; he loved playing cards, shuffleboard and traveling and enjoyed life.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Lois Eileen French; his daughter: Deborah Jo Jackson; his son: Victor French; his sister: June Bowman; and his brother: Scott French.

He is survived by his son & daughter in law: Steve & Nina French of Greenville; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Otterbein Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brethren Retirement Community Resident Aid Fund or State of the Heart Care.
