Mary E. Manuel, 98 of Palestine, Ohio passed away on Wednesday May 30, 2018 at 5:52 PM at State of the Heart Care Center. She was born November 28, 1919 in Darke County, Ohio the daughter of the late Virgil & Mabel (Hoffman) Judy. She was a homemaker and worked for 8 years at United Telephone. She was a member of Palestine Church of Christ,

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Phillip Manuel; her brothers: Virgil “Jiggs” Judy, & Eugene “Spike” Judy.

She is survived by her children & spouses: Philip K. & Shay Manuel of Stafford, Virginia, Kathy & David Penfield of Englewood, Kristy & David Hunn of Union, Ohio; grandchildren: Cortney Ravert, Megan Manuel, Alyssa Manuel, Jon Penfield, Janna Penfield, & Sean Hunn; 5 great grandchildren.

Services will be on Monday June 4, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Palestine Church of Christ 209 Lynn Street, Palestine, Ohio with Deacon Alan Ayette officiating. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday June 3, 2018 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio and from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM on Monday at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to Palestine Church of Christ or State of the Heart Care.
