Robert was born March 14, 1929, in York, Pennsylvania to the late John & Elsie (Shue) Erney. In addition to his parents, Robert was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy (Cordell) Erney; and brother, Marvin Erney.
Robert is survived by a step-daughter, Rosella “Rose” Best of Greenville; brothers, John Erney of York, Pennsylvania and Donald Erney of Florida; and a sister, Lois Naylor of Dover, Pennsylvania.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 18, 2018, at Greenville Township Memorial Garden with Chaplain Candy Null officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
