Alma J. Derr age 84, of Versailles and formerly of Webster passed away at 1:25 AM on Monday, August 20, 2018, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
Alma was born January 25, 1934, in Troy to the late Andrew & Agnes (Reed) Bollheimer. In addition to her parents, Alma was also preceded in death by her husband, Orville Derr on January 15, 2004, whom she married July 3, 1954.
Alma is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Debra & Dan Brown of Versailles and Beverly & Steve Davidson of Versailles; grandchildren, Nicole & Jeff Lyme, Megan & Wes Subler, Ashley & Miles Saintignon and Robert Davidson; great-grandchildren, Levi Subler, Makayla Subler, Gabriella Subler, Lillian Subler, Nathan Saintignon and Tristynn Saintignon; siblings, Alvin & Donna Bollheimer of Hardin, Freda Smith of Covington and Andrew & Carol Bollheimer of Ansonia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Alma was a 1952 graduate of Ft. Loramie High School. She worked as a secretary for Edwin F. Nickol Monuments and Nutri Rations in Versailles. Alma was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Willowdell and attended Webster United Methodist Church in Webster.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor David Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
