Robert C. “Bob” Heaton Sr., formerly of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Sunday October 11, 2020 at 5:35 PM at the Union City Care Center, Union City, Ohio. He was born April 27, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Forrest & Opal Heaton.
Robert served in the United States Marine Corp; he was a journeyman electrician and worked for 17 years at Union City Body Company, he worked at various other places and retired from Jafe Decorating.
Robert was a 1957 graduate of Greenville High School; he enjoyed the outdoors and most of all loved his cats.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents; his brother: James Heaton; his sisters: Mary Anna, & Janice.
Robert is survived by his children & spouses: Robert & Peggy Heaton Jr. of West Chester, Ohio, William & Valerie Heaton of Hebron, Kentucky, Deborah & Carlos Brown of Katy, Texas, Stephen & Sandra Heaton of Huntsville, Alabama, & Daniel & Jody Heaton of Gettysburg, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister & brother in law: Sharon & Mike Scrimenti of Centerville, Ohio; & numerous nieces & nephews.
A Celebration of life will be held on Monday October 19, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. Condolences for the family may be expressed through www.zecharbailey.com.
