Barbara Jean Moore (May 19, 2021)

Barbara Jean Moore, 89, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at the Oakley Place in Greenville.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl (Francis) Kenworthy and Paul "Eddy" Kenworthy; and her son-in-law, Ron Kauffman.

Over the years, she served faithfully in the Hollansburg Ladderettes, Hollansburg Cemetery Board, Hollansburg Sesquicentennial Committee and would often help at the Pot Pie dinners at Hollansburg American Legion. When she was younger, Barbara enjoyed collecting antiques and working in her flowerbeds and mowing. She and Gene would often enjoy a meal at Sam's Place.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Harold Eugene "Gene" Moore, whom she married on January 27, 1951; her children, Michael (Polly) Moore of Florida, Gary (Cindy) Moore of Greenville, Teresa Kauffman of Arcanum, Ohio, and Jody (Larry) Fannin of Dayton, Ohio; her 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Sharon Kenworthy; and many nieces and nephews.
