Michelle J. (Pitzer) Smith, age 53 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on the morning of August 17, 2011 at her residence. She was born March 11, 1958 in Greenville, Ohio the daughter of Don & Tina (Nicholson) Pitzer of Greenville. She is preceded in death by her brother: Mark Pitzer.

She is survived by her parents; Husband: Bruce Smith of Greenville; Daughter: Rachael Strosnider of Greenville; Granddaughter: Ashley Strosnider; Sisters & brothers in law: Melinda & Will Stacy of Greenville, Marcia & Wayne Arnold of Greenville, Susan & Jeff Kolling of Arcanum; Sister in law: Darlene Taylor; & numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, & nephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday August 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Sylvia McKibben officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Monday August 22, 2011 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Darke County Mental Health or Greenville Twp. Rescue.
