Beulah I. Zimmerman (May 29, 2013)

Beulah I. Zimmerman age 104, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 6:05 A.M. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at her residence. Beulah was born August 5, 1908 in Auglaize County, Ohio to the late Samuel & Nellie (Seigel) Morris.

Beulah is survived by her daughter, Maxine Hangen of Greenville; granddaughters, Sandra (Mike) Ashby of Greenville and Sue (David) Barnette of Greenville; and many loving great and great-great grandchildren whom she adored getting hugs and kisses from.

In addition to her parents, Beulah is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Zimmerman; step son, Morris Zimmerman; step daughter, Helen Miller; and eleven siblings.

Beulah was a homemaker. Beulah was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Greenville, being the oldest attending member. She worshiped faithfully up to the time of her illness. Beulah was awarded as the oldest person attending the Darke County Fair for the past two years. Beulah was one of the oldest citizens to vote in Darke County this past election.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at EUM Worship Center 1451 Sater Street Greenville with Pastor Jeff Harper and Pastor Sylvia McKibben officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Ft. Jefferson. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. and Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at EUM Worship Center.
